Border Patrol agents find five immigrants hidden inside refrigerated tractor trailer

U.S. Border Patrol agents found five people hidden inside a refrigerated tractor at the Falfurrias checkpoint on Thursday, according to a news release.

When a K9 alerted agents, the tractor trailer was referred for secondary inspection, according to the news release.

Upon inspection, agents found five immigrants concealed within boxes of watermelons.

The driver, a Mexican national, was arrested and referred for prosecution, according to the news release.

The five immigrants, from Mexico and El Salvador, will be processed accordingly.

Who would want to buy watermelons or any food item from Mexico when it's probably been sat on, touched, or worse by illegal aliens while in transit? I'm not buying anything agricultural from Mexico any more.
