Pastor urges Trump to show 'heart' to 'Dreamers'

One of President Trump's spiritual advisers asked him to show "heart" ahead of his decision on the future of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.


Pastor Jentezen Franklin personally pleaded Trump to help those who would be impacted by his decision during a meeting with Trump's spiritual advisers in the Oval Office Friday, Franklin told The Washington Post.


Franklin said he and Trump discussed Trump's love for his own children before Franklin said he wanted "to see that kind of heart toward these children."


The meeting took place as Trump mulled whether to end the Obama-era program that shields from deportation undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as minors who applied for work visas.



Franklin, who oversees a multiethnic megachurch in Georgia, said he told Trump during the meeting that the individuals he knows who are impacted by the program are "good kids."
The Trump administration is expected to announce the end of the program Tuesday with a six-month delay, giving Congress the opportunity to take legislative action before the protections expire.


Franklin said in a statement Monday that he was "concerned to see DACA expire" but grateful for the "generous six-month extension to dreamer kids," according to the Post.

Yeah, that's why Trump schmoozed when asked about the DACAs and DREAMERS and he said "We love the dreamers, we love everybody." It was immediately after the prayer, surrounded by these church people that he was asked the question and gave that answer. Of course the wild-eyed ones who didn't know the setting or context read it in a leftie paper and determined this meant Trump was now our enemy.

Send the "good kids" back to contribute to the success of their country.

We are a country of Laws...and that includes the Church...go to Mexico and help them!

Keep that moron pastor out of the White House and away from our President. In fact, keep them all out. This President is as good a man as we've ever had in the American White House, he does NOT need "spiritual advisors" at the office. Who does that? George Bush II did that, stop that.
