The UN is directly assisting the erosion of our sovereignty at the border. Why are we still funding it?
I say exactly what I mean. Mexico asked for UN assistance. That is their right to do. The UN sent in a small team of people to explain to the Honduran migrants they couldn't enter the US with a pass to do so through Mexico, something both Mexico and the US wanted, and then they encourage them to return to their home countries and will pay for it. It's a UN refugee return program that's been in existence since 1979 and used all over the world, so why not use it to cart those willing to return back to Honduras which is where that group was from? Makes perfect sense to me.

Well, I guess we can see that you clearly have fallen in line with the ACLU, Chamber of Commerce, corporations, businesses and special interest groups in opposing mandatory E-Verify. Have you even wondered why these groups and folks are adamantly opposed to E-Verify? Well, I'll tell you why, it's because they know it would further restrict the ability of illegal alien to secure a job.Quote:
So they know where you find you at work. So they can push a button and mess up your data to keep your from employment. There's no other reason for DHS to save this data. None. It's an attack on Americans, not illegal aliens. Employers who want to hire illegal aliens, just hire them with or without E-Verify.
As I and others have already told you, all the information is already available in government databases. You're argument against making sure that people applying for employment are who they say they are and that their claimed SSN actually belongs to them is ridiculous.
Like I said earlier, when I purchase a gun I have to provide identification, fill out background information paperwork, which includes my SSN. How is that any different? My SSN is listed with my government healthcare provider. My SSN is part of my military service record. My SSN was required to open my bank account. Heck, my SSN has been required for a lot of things during my life. You need to quit acting like our SSN number is this magic number that is top secret and extremely private because it's not .... it's on file in all kinds of databases and with your current employer!
I was never a big fan of E-Verify, because I don't think it will have the impact on illegal immigration that most think it will. But when I found it it was linking cross agency data and storing it on US citizens in a giant database file in DHS, I went from not a big fan to not liking it at all. It had nothing to do with business, farmers or the Chamber of Commerce. I just don't think any law enforcement agency of the federal government should have or store that type of information on US citizens.
As I've said, I don't like it and I don't want it. If you don't understand why from what I've already told you for months, maybe years at this point, then get over it and go rally with the people who do like it for some untold reason. I'm not in Congress, I don't vote on the bills. Go talk to them. I just know that Americans will sooner rather than later regret this and ask why didn't someone tell us. I've told you my opinion, and that's the best I can do.
DEFUND THE U.N. AND BOOT THEM OFF OUR SOIL TOO!
