Border Patrol agents apprehended 271 undocumented migrants near Los Ebanos between midnight and 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to a CBP official, many of the undocumented migrants were comprised of family units and unaccompanied children from the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

The agents encountered the first group of 98 at around 12:09 a.m., followed by 10 a half hour later. At 1:21 a.m. agents found a group of 46.

An Hour after processing the last group, the next group of 87 showed, tailed by another 26 illegal aliens. Agents apprehended four more shortly after 4:30 a.m.
