Birthright citizenship is just like an amnesty; children of illegal aliens given American citizenship, and after 18 years of receiving taxpayer benefits for their births , healthcare , food and schooling, they’re legally able to vote in our elections.

Yes, good point. And their countries laws state if they give birth on foreign soil … then that child IS a citizen of their country.

Give them a Certificate of Child Born Abroad and deport them all.

Yes, hattiecat and Beezer, the absurdity of automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens is beyond the pale. So stupid, so ridiculous, and truly absurd, a joke on US citizenship and the 14th Amendment. I hope it gets corrected one day soon.

We need to end Dual Citizenship now. You are either a citizen of this country, or you are not.

Illegal aliens and their offspring are NOT citizens! Never were! Stop the Bureau of Vital Statistics issuing them U.S. Birth Certificates!

Yes, ending dual citizenship is a great goal, why should 1 person be allowed to vote in two countries' elections?! That just makes no sense, globally speaking.

I thought Cruz was the better choice, but I was overruled by the majority. Trump's campaign inconsistencies on amnesty were a concern for me.

The government would not be “regulating free speech” it would be stopping the huge tech monopolies from regulating free speech. Day after day I see responsible conservative platforms shut down by the left-wing monopolies because they don’t like what is said. Those suppressed users were not advocating violence, nor racism, just facts and thoughtful opinions. And the monopolies shut them down. Many content producers had spent years and money developing an audience only to have it gone in an instant. ALIPAC was forced out of Google. Where have you been?

The post office cannot refuse to deliver mail to a specific business or address. The telephone company can not refuse to let you talk to somebody’s business or home. But the tech monopolies do it all of the time, and it is almost always conservatives. Spare me the “free speech.” The government action is needed to protect freedom of speech from interference by Facebook, Google just everywhere on social media. Their tech services dominate and dwarf all other communications. To be shut down on Twitter is literally to silence dissent. The government is needed to force them to be neutral. It is sad that the huge monopolies have to be dragged kicking and screaming to treat everyone fairly and allow all voices to be heard.

As things are now, free speech on the internet is a sham. right-wing dissenting voices are being silenced all across the web.
