TUCKER CALLS OUT REPORTER COVERING THE CARAVAN WHO SAYS IT’S MOSTLY WOMEN AND BABIES

Tucker Carlson accused Univision host Enrique Acevedo of pushing propaganda through his reporting from Tijuana, Mexico during Acevedo’s appearance on Carlson’s show Thursday night.

“It’s a movement of people, thousands of people, around 5,000 have already arrived to Tijuana and the border with San Diego, Tucker. But it’s not a national emergency and it’s not a threat to the national security of the United States. Most of the people that are part of this caravan are just pushing strollers through Mexico. They are families, women, [and] babies just trying to get to the U.S. to legally request asylum, something that President Trump is making much, much harder,” Acevedo stated.


Carlson responded, “I just want to get to the practical part of this. So we were told by anchors across the spectrum on television that the caravan was a thousand miles away. They were walking. It would be weeks before they got to our border. I wake up this morning and there they are, how’d that happen? Did they run or did someone pay buses to take them up here? And you didn’t tell us that part.”

“It took them almost a month or over a month to get from Honduras to the U.S., Mexico border. Not all of them have arrived, some of them them are still trying to get to this point, Tucker. And yeah, some of them were able to catch a ride and get on a bus, on trailers, on the back of trucks that were carrying chickens and pigs,” Acevedo fired back.

“No, no, no, no wait, that’s not quite right,” the host pushed back. “So you are saying nobody chartered any buses to bring them up here? Because I think we have videos showing chartered buses bringing them up here and you’re the reporter on the scene. You don’t think there are any chartered buses whatsoever?”


The interview came the same day multiple caravan members were arrested trying to illegally cross the border.


“I haven’t seen anyone chartering buses to bring them to the border. I’ve seen Mexican officials, for example, here in Tijuana providing transportation from this point in the border,” Acevedo added. “I am happy to share the footage with Fox News, the footage from our correspondent who traveled with them in the back of a bus that usually carries chickens.”


“What I’m saying is what you’re engaging in is propaganda designed to convince people to think something that is not true. So I think we both know the majority of people, including the people on the tape moving from Honduras and Guatemala, are men, young men, without their wives and children, right? Or are you not going to admit that?” Carlson shot back.

From all the pictures that I have seen, this "group" looks to be primarily MEN. Just sayin..

Load them on barges in San Diego. Let the Navy and Coast Guard ship them back to Central America!

Mexico offer asylum, they can stay there or go home.

The Mexican people do not want them either.

We owe them nothing!

Tucker did well to reveal the truth. Video clips, many from outside mainstream media are being posted that show what is really happening with the caravan. Women and children are focused on but we see the large numbers of men.

The caravan is getting assistance with travel and other needs as we have witnessed from several sources. It has to cost many millions to care for and provide food, shelter, medical, transportation for the thousands of people traveling.

This reporter, like Jorge Ramos, just spews the open borders' talking points. So misleading for the audience. They just say whatever they want to further the social justice propaganda for open borders and let them all come.

Good for Tucker! But the question is what difference would it make if there were a lot of women and babies? We certainly don't want them either. We don't want any of them, men, women, minors, children, babies. NONE OF THEM.

Completely agree!

They can get back the exact same way they got here----

Walk
Buses---provided by the same people who proved them on their way to invade
Mexico can provide Police Escorts and other aid, just like they helped them get here
organizers and charities---who assisted and encouraged them to get here, and can assist and encourage them on the way back.

We should not provide transportation or any kind of assistance to invaders---even that encourages them to do it again.

If offering them a bus ride back to Honduras will influence them to go home, I'm all for it. I say that because the journey here was probably enough to convince them that the journey home isn't something they want to do.

In other words, if they don't get in legally, they'll just go to another section of border between the port of entries and attempt to get in illegally ...... and it won't stop at a single try.

So, heck yeah, load the buses, planes, trains, covered Conestoga wagons, space shuttles or whatever and send them back home! 8O

They are sick, they are tired, they have no money. It will be a long wait.

The Mexican people are harassing them and do not want them either.

They have trashed and destroyed their way through Mexico. The Mexican government and people should not stand for this. We do not want it either.

Cheaper to send the buses now and nip this in the bud!

I think many will give up, get the free ride home and go back.

Right now they are mouthing off thinking they "won". The women, the elderly, all the children need to be loaded up and sent back home.

They do not qualify for asylum and word needs to get out that they will NOT be allow entry.
