More than 100 undocumented immigrants have been found being smuggled in tractor trailers in September.

U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector have found the people during six separate incidents, according to a news release.

Agents at the Falfurrias checkpoint Sept. 30 found 13 undocumented immigrants hidden in a tractor trailer after the driver approached a primary inspection lane, the release states.

The driver, a Cuban national, was taken into custody. All 13 people were offered medical attention but declined, the release states.

U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a Cuban national attempting to smuggle illegal aliens past the checkpoint.
