LAREDO, Tx.- Border Patrol agents and Immigration and Customs Enforcements investigate a case where four undocumented immigrants were found in a motel room.

This operation took place at Motel Siesta, where authorities arrested a Laredo resident and one from Mirando, Texas. Both were sent to the County Jail.

Federal officials were investigating a case after receiving information about a group of illegal immigrants that were hiding in a local motel.

Law officials detected the arrival of a man in an automobile and entered room 268, who then came out of the room with two other people.

ICE and immigration officials arrested the Laredo smuggler and as they continued investigating the case they were able to make a second arrest.

In the motel room two other illegal immigrants were found, who confessed they were going to be transported to Houston for a payment of 2,800 dollars each.
