Since early October, agents have reported 21 assaults in the Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector, spanning from Brownsville into Starr County. The attacks ranged from pushing to rock throwing, local agency spokesman Oscar Saldaña said Wednesday.
Last year, local agents suffered 113 assaults total. If the trend continues, there will be an increase of about a dozen assaults next year.

You are right nntrixie, information of this nature is never put out there by the media. I it wasn't for web sites such as this one and of course Lou Dobbs and a few others, we would not know what is going on in reference to illegal immigration and a lot of other news worthy information that affects every American citizen. I think it a shame that they want to keep us ignorant and out of the loop when it comes to stories of this nature. How much more do they think common sense people are going to take before all H--- break loose? I don't think that time is to far away because American citizens are waking up more and more with each passing day concerning this issue.
