Deputies: Man used Internet to have sex with teen
12:31 PM CST on Tuesday, February 13, 2007
A 30-year-old man is sitting in jail, accused sexual assault of a child.
It’s alleged that Iran Perez-Bello, an undocumented immigrant, used the Internet to entice a 16-year-old Austin High School girl into a sexual relationship.
Iran Perez-Bello is accused of using the internet to lure a 16-year-old into a sexual relationship.
The two reportedly met in a chat room.
It was a chat room operated by the Univision Television Network.
From chatting online, deputies say, the two began text messaging.
That reportedly led to the man meeting the girl’s parents and the girl eventually missing 17 days of school.
The parents reportedly thought the man was 23.
Precinct 6 officers began investing Perez-Bello after the girl’s parents learned he had taken the girl from school without permission several times.
Deputies say they contacted Perez-Bello and asked him to bring the girl back, but he refused.
They arrested the man after he dropped off the teenager at her home.
Deputies say the pair had sexual intercourse on at least three occasions at Perez-Bello’s home in Montgomery County.
Harris County Precinct 6 Constable Victor Trevino said that the intricacies of the case were cause for alarm. “.. his immigration status and threat to take the girl away leads us to believe he may have taken the girl out of the country.”
Perez-Bello is now being held in the Montgomery County jail.
“The school district has taken many steps to prevent students from accessing chat rooms that have been identified as maybe where child predators would get into,” said Pct. 6 Constable Victor Trevino. “But these are friendly chat rooms that. I don’t know if it’s a new tool that child predators developed. But this is something that concerns us.”
HISD and Pct. 6 officials say there is no evidence that the pair used a school computer to communicate.
But the FBI has taken possession of a computer believed involved in the case.

It's not that we don't already have criminals and predators here. However it is adding insult to injury when the predator is someone who was NEVER supposed to be here.
That's when you realize that this crime would not have happened had our federal government taken care of this issue long ago like they should have, and as we asked them to."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. The illegal immigrant was bad enough, but I have to place blame with the parents too, they should have been more responsible for their own child.
