TX-EDUCATION BUDGET CUTS TO IGNORE COST OF ILLEGALS

Article concerning Education Budget Cuts in TEXAS and not one word about the BILLIONS wasted on ILLEGALS and their Anchors!

Send the ILLEGALS along with their anchors back to their home countries and the resulting savings including the teachers and free lunch and breakfast that cater to the ILLEGALS and anchors would most likely cancel out any budget cuts. Consider the resulting side benefit with the decrease in health cost when the ILLEGALS and their anchors do not continue to utilize the Hospital ERs as their primary physicians without one thought of paying.

AUSTIN — School districts should be allowed to give teachers unpaid furloughs and cut their salaries to help deal with a funding shortfall that one estimate says could cost 100,000 jobs, a leading state senator says. State Senate Education Committee Chairman Florence Shapiro, R-Plano, said the layoff projection could be whittled if school districts could take less drastic steps, an area she said loosening state restrictions could help temper the effects of a budget shortfall.

Under starting-point state budget proposals filed by legislative leaders, school districts would get $9.3 billion to $9.8 billion less through the next two years than under current funding formulas to cover enrollment increases and a projected drop in local revenue due to lower property values.

One expert has estimated the higher figure could cost up to 100,000 school district jobs in Texas through the next two years.

“One of those burdens that we have placed on our school districts is that they cannot decrease your salary. They can’t have furlough days. It’s not allowed in the law. The only option is to fire,â€

So it looks like the American workers,in this case teachers, will have to bear the brunt of the storm. With their loss of jobs or loss of pay, which deepens them into poverty.

Why don't they just face the facts and get rid of the costs pandering to ILLEGALS? Let Mexico or whoever pick up the tab in educating their own people.

This is SOP for the Elitist Politicians, if Citizens attempt to cut cost (lower taxes) the first thing that say is the "Citizens do not want to pay the Police Firemen, or Teachers" instead of cutting the overhead such as all the extras for the ILLEGALS and their Anchors or some of their buddies, family members, and Political Contributors on the payroll. They realize the Citizens want and need the Police and Firemen for protection and Teachers to educate their children and make their pay the issue as a “miss-directionâ€

Meanwhile, 100,000 law abiding Texas teachers will be unemployeed, while the ones left will be teaching twice the number of kids with less money to do it, while still being held accountable to rising state testing knowing next cut will put them out of work. Our kids educations and futures are being flushed down the toilets while our federal and state governements pander to illegals. It cost Texas $6.5 billion to take care of our illegals and the State of Texas is trimming $5 billion from education.
