36 people found in drop house

Officers found 36 people, including five suspected coyotes, in a possible drop house in Mesa on Sunday afternoon.

The house was in the 2400 block of East Boston Street near University Drive and Lindsay Road.

Police found an unloaded handgun in the house and $3,000 in the possession of one the people in the home, police said.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement assisted with the investigation
