    The tips have dwindled and the leads have produced nothing but dead ends, so authorities are asking for the public's help in apprehending a convicted rapist who walked out of a downtown Phoenix courthouse a little more than two weeks ago.

    Adrian Gonzalez Cruz, 26, escaped while in the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office on Feb. 17.

    Detectives don't know whether Cruz is in Mexico, where his family lives in Michoacan state, or in the Valley.
    Cruz entered the U.S. illegally sometime in the late 1990s, investigators believe.

    If Cruz is still in the Phoenix area, authorities believe he could be visiting homeless centers for food and shelter, day-labor sites for work or contacts in the community and “gay-friendlyâ€

    For some odd reason , dont know why .
    I think he's been punished for his crimes , only not with the a c l u looking over any ones shoulders .
    Not that I would condone that kind of justice . But .....
    I would understand .
