Thread: LeRoy Police arrest an illegal alien with a long rap sheet

Officers pulled over 42 year old Juan Rivas-Silva for an alleged traffic violation on Monday in the Village. Rivas-Silva allegedly admitted to LeRoy PD that in 1998 he had entered into the United States illegally and was in possession of an expired driver’s license and a Mexican passport.

It was soon discovered after contacting the Border Patrol that Rivas-Silva had been recently deported to Mexico and had a serious record of charges including burglary, assault and battery, domestic violence and DWI. Border Patrol agents responded and transported him to their Rochester station for processing.

He is being held without bail awaiting his deportation from the States for a second time.
