Undocumented immigrants detained near railroad tracks

Two undocumented immigrants were detained along the railroad tracks near Farm-to-Market Road 616 on Sunday.

The two men were believed to have been on the train at some point, said Tom Copeland with the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.

Border Patrol transported the men to the Corpus Christi Immigration and Customs Enforcement office.

"We catch quite a few of them. Sometimes they are on the train. Sometimes they are in a car. It varies," Copeland said.
