Businesses get prepared for immigration law

South Carolina businesses will soon have to comply with a new immigration law.

Tuesday, Grand Strand employers found out how it works.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce hosted an educational session about the state's immigration reform act.

Starting July 1st, small businesses will be required to verify that all of their employees are legal residents.

Large employers had to comply last year and state officials say, so far, most of them are doing OK with it.

"We have gone in and audited just about every large business in this state in the last year, we're finding about a 95 percent compliance rate with the law, so I think the message is getting out there. But it is real important that we get the message out to the smaller employer," said Lisa Kudeka with South Carolina Labor, Licensing and Registration.

Businesses with fewer than 100 employees will be affected by the new law.

COINCIDENTALLY, South Carolina's Unemployment numbers have been steadily dropping...lol

Congrats to the people of South Carolina.

The illegal alien problem in South Carolina will dry up if they enforce this vigorously with real sanctions for those who do not comply. It is just as simple as this and yet the federal gubmint fights tooth and nail against enforcement on behalf of their globalist puppet masters' sinister agenda.

The lamestream media, including Faux News is downplaying this problem in an effort to further the New World Order (one world government) agenda as well. Listen to Hannity talk about what the Republican Party needs to do in order to take back the House and Senate in the upcoming election. Pay close attention, he talks fiscal responsibility, no earmarks, ets. but seldom ever says anything at all about the illegal alien invasion. His "bosses" have obviously clued him in on what the agenda is on this issue. Yes, he definitely got the memo. I've also noticed that if he is interviewing someone and they bring it up, he suddenly either changes the subject or ends the interview. O'Reilly....same......Beck.....doesn't talk about the issue anymore. I've done my part to bring their ratings down because of this. I don't watch their shows anymore. They are as bad as the others, but they try to pretend to be better making them nothing more than simple hypocrits. I don't trust any of them as far as i can throw my car and the same goes for incumbent politicians.

I'm afraid that most of America has overslept until it is too late or until it will be much much much more difficult to turn things around. It's just a shame that those of us who have been awake and struggling against this criminality and insanity for so long will have to pay too.

Oreilly and Beck are as much neo cons as Bush was. They are full of crap and the only thing they can tell you to do is pray and vote GOP. They have NO real solutions for religious, social, and ethnic problems that are faced when you try and push all the different peoples of the world together into one bunch. No one government and one set of laws can blanket the world, and never will.

All Oreilly and beck do now is promote capitalism.
