The Southwest border could see an additional 1,200 U.S. Border Patrol agents, more than 500 U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and other initiatives to fight narcotics smuggling and drug-related violence that were included in a supplemental appropriations bill approved late last week by the U.S. House of Representatives.
The $701 million included in the emergency spending measure represents one of the largest ever infusions of federal funding for border security programs.
U.S. Rep. Solomon Ortiz, D-Corpus Christi, said the funding included in the bill for additional personnel along the border is a more cost-effective strategy to fight drug smuggling and illegal immigration than previous attempts.

As far as the signs in Arizona telling people to stay out of a certain area, California has had this problem for years. You can't safely go into any Federal park cause that is where the illegals grow their pot.

Our border laws are not enforced simply because Americans are making money off of illegal aliens, politicians are begging for their votes, and Americans are buying billions of dollars in marijuana and other drugs from Mexico.

700 million wouldnt even begin to help secure the border. Obama says we dont need a "patchwork" of laws. Well lets not have a "patchwork" of promises to secure the border because nothing ever gets done!
