    WASHINGTON – The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a 2009 spending bill that includes an additional $405 million for a program to fight drug trafficking and organized crime in Mexico and Central America.

    Unfortunately, much of the military equipment provided under this iniative will end up in the hands of the drug cartels themselves, and many of the troops trained at US taxpayer expense specifically to combat them also will be hired to work for the drug cartels at higher salaries than the Mexican military can pay them.

    While Napolitano is up there questioning TX Gov. Rick Perry about what should be done in Texas because she doesn't believe there is any spillover problems in Texas, they are throwing money into Mexico.

    And we thought the people in the Bush administration were bad.
