Deported Illegal Immigrants Now Getting Welfare In Mexico

More than 50 Mexicans deported from the U.S. have received welfare so far this year, a Mexican official announced Wednesday.

    El Universal
reported that the 53 immigrants have been receiving the benefits from Mexico City. Amalia Garcia, secretary of labor and labor promotion, told El Universal that the beneficiaries have all been men.

Garcia added that 134 people are returning weekly in flights to Mexico City, and that — regardless if they are from the capital or not — they are offered welfare. The welfare they receive is 2,264 pesos, the equivalent of around $110, a month for half a year. The deported illegal immigrants are also offered job training and access to job fairs.

The Associated Press also reported Wednesday that Mexican immigration experts are bracing for the possibility of refugee camps around the nation’s northern border, as a DHS memo signed Monday authorizes the deportation of illegal immigrants to the country they entered from, not back to their homeland.

“Just look at the case of the Haitians in Tijuana, what were they, seven or eight thousand? And the situation was just out of control. Now imagine a situation 10 or 15 times that size.
There aren’t enough resources to maintain them,” Alejandro Hope, a Mexico City-based security analyst, told the AP.Mexico was inundated throughout all of 2016 by a surge of African and Haitian migrants seeking to get to the U.S.

I don't think you get it. They are getting welfare from the Mexican government. This is great. If more Mexican citizens could get some sort of public assistance, maybe they wouldn't come here. I actually would support the US making contributions to this, maybe as a part of an amnesty program. The cost of living in Mexico is pretty low, it would be cheaper than if they were living here.

Oh, I missed that pkskyali! So the deportees are receiving welfare from Mexico City, not the US! Well, that's great!!

DEPORT THEM ALL. GET THEM ALL OUT HERE. If they need welfare, they can sign up for it in their own countries, but not here.

That needs to be an absolute requirement. What kind of disgusting people would leave their own children in a foreign country?? It's appalling and can not be tolerated. These parents are the natural and legal guardians of their own children, regardless of where they were born. Where they go, their children go. Where their parents belong, their children belong. PERIOD.

The born in USA citizenship deal needs to be clarified/amended once and for all asap. Very tricky as after the last 12 years or so of wide open borders, anchor babies are in the millions. That was the plan by the invaders; our gov't was in on it too, otherwise you do not get away with it.

E-verify needs to be strictly enforced for every job resulting in self-deportation otherwise it might be difficult to deport them. Without a doubt the DAPA people 5 million or so with anchor babies will fight this tooth and nail and will be supplied lawyers plus the court system will be overburdened.

Any that go with the foreign parent could one day say they are an American citizen and have a right to live here, work here, receive social services, bring their family etc.

I quickly scanned the article. Any assistance to citizens of Mexico from Mexico is a positive.

Most of the costs associated with illegal immigration involve education, health care , food stamps, free lunches, free maternity care , etc, etc, for the U.S. born children of illegal aliens. They are in the millions and are reaching voting age in record numbers. I have long maintained that birthright citizenship is the elephant in the room regarding illegal immigration, as the primarily means of growth in this population has been primarily through births ; a legal amnesty in a sense . It is imperative that this issue be dealt with, and in the meantime, any talk of allowing parents of anchor babies to remain in the country is nonsense- deport them all !
