Cocaine Trafficking Investigation Leads To 4 Arrests

Drugs, Gun, Found In Car, Deputies Say

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Four men are in Alamance County Sheriff's Department custody following a cocaine trafficking investigation that sent deputies to a home on Apple Street in Burlington on Thursday.

Deputies said a search warrant was obtained for a 2005 Honda Civic that was parked at the home. Inside, deputies said officers found cocaine, marijuana, scales and a handgun.

Elnev Useanga Teran, Daniel Hernandez Simon and Christian Alfonzo Orellana Rivera were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, cocaine possession, manufacturing cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rivera is also facing charges of maintaining a dwelling to keep, store or sell a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

A fourth man, Emmanuel Lopex Perez, is charged with identity theft and possession of a fraudulent identification.

All four were being held in the Alamance County Jail. Deputies said they are also suspected of being in the country illegally.
