Border Patrol finds more than 100 people locked in trailer trying to enter U.S. illegally

LAREDO, Texas — More than 100 people locked in trailer trying to enter the United States illegally were rescued by Border Patrol agents Monday.
Laredo West Border Patrol agents assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol Immigration Checkpoint on U.S. Highway 83 Northwest of Laredo said they encountered a semi-truck with a white trailer. The driver said they had no identification and a canine alerted to odors of concealed humans within the trailer.

During a secondary inspection, the driver got out through the passenger door and ran into a nearby field.

When agents opened the trailer, they found 120 people inside. Agents said the individuals were arrested and the individuals inside the trailer consisted of 11 juveniles from Honduras and Guatemala along with 109 adults from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador and Mexico.

Drive that truck right back to Mexico and dump them out.
