US to send Mexican migrants back to home states

MEXICO CITY (AP) The U.S. government says it will begin flying detained Mexican migrants back to their home states instead of dropping them off at the border, where many are victimized by drug traffickers.

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told reporters in Mexico City on Monday that the U.S. will pay to deport migrants by plane to airports in Mexico and the Mexican government will arrange the last leg of the journey home.

The program is to start in April.

Many immigrants from Mexico and Central America are robbed or forcibly recruited by members of organized crime groups on their northbound trip through Mexico, or on the way home.

The U.S. says a record 400,000 people were deported, mostly to Mexico, during the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30.

MORE American Taxpayer money?? Then they'll use the excuse, "we ran out of funds to keep flying them all, so now we keep them here, and STILL pay for their costs to stay"....guess we are screwed either way...but if forced to choose, Id rather pay to have Laws Enforced and The illegals OUT and loopholes eliminated.

The cost to haul them out, cant be as bad as the Monthly/Annual costs to cover their Housing, Education, Food and Healthcare...so yea, Id rather watch them be put back to their own home and forced to stay out of ours

Take away the jobs and freebies and they will leave themselves.
