Va. Club Owner Sentenced for Harboring Illegal Aliens:

The owner of a northern Virginia "room salon" that catered to Korean men with provocatively dressed hostesses has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for harboring illegal aliens.

Since 2007, the salon, which operated under the names "High Society" and "Tomato," employed dozens of women who were illegal immigrants from South Korea.

Patrons at the Falls Church establishment paid $300 for bottle service in private rooms and were served by women who were required to drink and flirt with customers. Court documents indicate some women were also encouraged to have sexual relations with customers.

Club owner Sang Bun Surh of Annandale received a 2 1/2-year term at Friday's sentencing in Alexandria federal court. The club's primary "madam," 41-year-old Young Mi Kim, received a 16-month sentence.
