NEWBERG, Ore. -- Cocaine, marijuana and crystal meth were seized after police searched the home and car of a Newberg man Wednesday, according to McMinnville police.

The Yamhill County Interagency Narcotics Team and Newberg-Dundee Police pulled over a car at 10th and College streets in Newberg on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver, 28-year-old Gerardo Romero Rodriguez, was arrested after police searched his car and home.

In addition to illegal drugs, authorities said they seized packaging material, drug paraphernalia and more than $2,000 in cash.

Romero Rodriguez was booked into the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on charges of possessing, delivering and manufacturing controlled substances.
