Bush's Guest Worker Program Creating Time Table Tensions

Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - President Bush has recently announced plans for a guest worker program that would temporarily legalize the status of millions of undocumented workers (UW's). However members in the Government are stalling any quick legislation before the year ends.
The Pew Hispanic Center released new findings today concerning undocumented migrant labor in the U.S.
The study shows that most undocumented migrants from Mexico were previously employed before they left for the United States.
Some political experts believe the White House will push for legislation to be approved before the end of the year. The Bush backed program offers the nearly 11 million UW's in the United States the chance to register and work for up to six years.
However, the plan stipulates they must then return to their home countries for a year to apply for a new work permit.
The House is scheduled to vote next week on the legislation that plays into this new bill by strengthening border security and requires workplace enforcement of immigration law but does not offer the proposed guest worker program, a goal of President Bush and many in Congress.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Well, we're just gonna have to make sure that SANTA CLAUS does NOT bring little Georgie Porgie what HE wants for Christmas. As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't even deserve coal or switches. He deserves an EMPTY STOCKING.

They know darn well that in 6 years, those immigrants will plant roots and by then, there will be other legislation in place to grant them citizenship. That's why the 6 year delay in getting them out a here.
They don't have to look for these 11 million, just start punishing the employers. They'll all go homeJoin our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
