Jill Marie Sundberg was murdered in December outside of her trailor park. Sundberg got into an argument with Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez. So Rodriquez dragged her into the forest and shot her dead.

Sundberg was shot 13 times.

At least one of the men arrested was an illegal alien.

Arrests have been made in connection with the shooting death of Jill Marie Sundberg, age 31, whose body was found 1.5 miles west of Silica Road around 12:25 p.m. on December 22nd, 2016.

A team consisting of Grant County Sheriff’s Office Detectives/Deputies, Interagency Narcotics Enforcement (INET) Detectives, U.S. Marshalls, all worked together during the investigation and subsequent arrest of:

• Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez, and alleged shooter, age 39, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Ambrosio Mendez Villanueva, age 25, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Julio Mendez Villanueva, age 25, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Fernando Marcos Gutierrez, age 33, been charged with being a material witness along with immigration charges;
• Salvador Espinoz a Gomez, age 24, charged with being a material witness, and possession of a firearm, drug charges, as well as immigration charges.

According to multiple witness accounts, the victim, Jill Sundberg, was in an argument with the alleged shooter, Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez, at the Shady Tree RV Park, on the evening in question. Shortly after the argument, she was reportedly taken against her will to the location where her body was later discovered. She was reportedly shot 13 times by the alleged shooter.

At least one of the men, Fernando Marcos Gutierrez, is an illegal alien.

Just horrible. Absolutely awful. So sick and sad over all these needless deaths caused by scum bags who shouldn't even be in the country to begin with.

We need to go back to hanging at sunrise for these vermin. I do not want to pay for his lawyer or his incarceration for the next 50 years.

Police in George, Washington State, have arrested five illegal aliens wanted in connection with the murder of a woman allegedly shot 13 times.

Investigators with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office working in connection with deputy U.S. Marshalls and the Interagency Narcotics Enforcement (INET) task force arrested five illegal aliens who allegedly murdered Jill Sundberg. The woman had been in an argument with one of the alleged shooters shortly before she was killed, KNDO NBC23 reported.

Sheriff’s officials reported the following arrests:

• Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez, and alleged shooter, age 39, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Ambrosio Mendez Villanueva, age 25, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Julio Mendez Villanueva, age 25, charged with murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree;
• Fernando Marcos Gutierrez, age 33, been charged with being a material witness along with immigration charges;
• Salvador Espinoz a Gomez, age 24, charged with being a material witness, and possession of a firearm, drug charges, as well as immigration charges.

The Grant County Sheriff confirmed that all five were in the U.S. illegally, KHQ’s Patrick Erickson Tweeted.

Witnesses told police Sundberg was arguing with Rodriguez on the evening of December 21. The report does not disclose what the argument was about. Shortly after the argument, Sundberg was kidnapped and taken to the location where her body was eventually discovered.

“This was an immense collaborative effort between responding agencies,” Sheriff Tom Jones told reporters. “Our sincerest thanks to all and continued prayers to the Sundberg family for their senseless loss.”

The five arrested were seen leaving the RV park where the argument took place. Sundberg’s hands were allegedly being held behind her back by Varona, FiberOne reported.

The suspects and the material witnesses drove her to a rest area alongside a highway, according to the police report. Varona was seen kicking the back of one of her legs, forcing her to the ground. Rodriguez then allegedly shot her at least 13 times in the head.

After shooting the woman, Mendez Villenueva reportedly wrote a note in Spanish on a piece of carboard and placed it on her back. He secured the message in place by stabbing it into her back with a knife, the report obtained by FiberOne revealed.

The group then fled the scene, traveling to a convenience store where they purchased some beer.

The Pacific Northwest has experienced crime from foreign nationals in the past.

Back in 2015, Breitbart Texas’ Editor-in-Chief Brandon Darby reported how a massive methamphetamine drug operation was being run by a Mexican cartel throughout Oregon, California, and Texas. At the time, some 24 suspects were charged with their involvement in the cartel, and many were illegal immigrants.

Sundberg’s body was found on December 22.

The region of Washington State where a 31-year-old woman was allegedly shot 13 and killed by a gang of illegal immigrants is surrounded by sanctuary jurisdictions.

Jill Sundberg was allegedly murdered in the Grant County area by five illegal immigrants, as Breitbart Texas reported, a region which neighbors multiple sanctuary cities.

A look at the Center for Immigration Studies sanctuary map reveals that there are over 25 sanctuary cities in Washington alone, almost more than any other state in the country.

South of George, sanctuary jurisdictions like Yakima County, the town of Sunnyside, Benton County, and Franklin County harbor illegal aliens from federal immigration enforcement officers.

To the east of George sits Spokane County, which has specific policies in place for the sheriff’s department to protect illegal immigrants.

On the northwest side of George sits Chelan County, which has a local jail policy that refuses to hold illegal immigrants on the basis of their immigration status for federal authorities.

Sundberg was allegedly arguing with Rodriguez on the evening of December 21. Shortly after the argument, Sundberg was kidnapped and taken to the location where her body was eventually discovered.

Police have arrested the five illegal immigrants who they say are responsible for shooting Sundberg 13 times in the head and stabbing her body with a message written in Spanish on a piece of cardboard.

EPHRATA, WA - EPHRATA, Wash. – President Donald Trump frequently points to undocumented immigrants committing crimes to justify his immigration policy. One county in central Washington could be the poster child for his argument.

In the rural part of Grant County along Vantage Road, a woman walking her dog last month discovered a murder scene the sheriff says he won't soon forget.

“It was probably one of the more disturbing scenes that they had investigated, and they have 70 years of experience between them all,” said Sheriff Tom Jones.

“I will call it an execution type murder. And so that's how gruesome it was,” said the sheriff. “She was face down and on her back was a cardboard with some verbage in Spanish with a knife stuck into her holding the sign.”

During a month-long investigation, detectives learned 31-year-old Jill Sundberg, mother of four, was abducted from the Shady Tree RV Park. The five men that deputies arrested for the murder are her neighbors.

All of them are undocumented immigrants.

While this type of crime is rare, Jones doesn't have to look farther than the jail next door to realize a disturbing trend. Undocumented immigrants make up 10 percent of the inmate population, costing the county almost $1.7 million over the last three years.

And that's just to hold them. Jones said the total cost to the system is much more.

“When we have our investigators investigating these crimes, the manpower it takes, the overtime, and the prosecutor's office, all the resources it takes, it's taxing,” he said.

The sheriff hopes the new Trump administration makes it tougher for deported criminals to return. However, he doesn't believe the immigrant community should have to pay the price.

“Do I believe that there are hardworking people here that are undocumented, and they pay their taxes, and they support their families? Yes, I do,” he said.

But when it comes to the killers of a young mother, Jones believes their fate is already sealed.

“We will do everything in our power to make sure they never see the light of day again,” he said.

Three of the men under arrest face charges of murder and kidnapping. Two are held as material witnesses and face immigration charges.

EPHRATA — Jury selection began Monday in the murder trial of Gustavo Tapia Rodriguez, an illegal immigrant and the suspected shooter in the 2016 murder of 31-year-old Quincy resident Jill Sundberg.

Almost 70 potential jurors filed into Grant County Superior Court Monday morning for the days-long process of selecting 12 people who will decide Tapia Rodriguez’s upcoming trial, which is expected to begin Friday.

Tapia Rodriguez is facing charges of first-degree murder, with aggravating circumstances including being armed with a firearm, acting with deliberate cruelty, drive-by shooting and kidnapping. He is also facing second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Sundberg’s body was found Dec. 22 near a rest area on the Old Vantage Highway, near George. Court documents indicate that Sundberg and Tapia Rodriguez were involved in an argument at the Shady Tree RV Park, near Quincy, and she was kidnapped and forced in an SUV.

Tapia Rodriguez, along with co-defendants Ambrosio Mendez Villanueva and Julio Cesar Albarran Varona, allegedly took Sundberg to a rest area near George where Tapia Rodriguez shot her 13 times. After the shooting occurred, Mendez Villanueva allegedly grabbed a piece of cardboard, placed it on Sundberg’s body and plunged a knife into it.

The sheriff’s office later released the contents of the note that was handwritten on the piece of cardboard. The message, which was written in Spanish, translates as: “For all those (expletive), (expletive) and (expletive) that show no respect to the gulf cartel.”

During testimony before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Grant County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ryan Rectenwald said all five of the men are illegal immigrants. The Gulf Cartel is one of Mexico’s oldest drug cartels and is infamous for widespread kidnappings, human trafficking and murders on both sides of the border.

Tapia Rodriguez is also awaiting trial on separate charges involving the kidnapping and murder of 26-year-old Othello resident Arturo Sosa, who was found deceased near Royal City.

I'm confused. Why did it take two years for the murderer to be tried. Does our criminal justice system really work that slow? What about the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that guarantees the right to a speedy trial?

Oh well, Washington doesn't have the death penalty, which is a travesty on its own.

This is a state crime case, not a federal crime case.
