Watch as Ann Coulter Totally Calls Out Raven-Symone on The View
Conservative commentator and author Ann Coulter stopped by The View on Friday to talk about Donald Trump's immigration reform policy, which of course meant that things got a little heated
with some of the more liberal co-hosts.
Even before Coulter arrived, the title of her book -- Adios America: The Left's Plan to Turn Our Country Into a Third World Hellhole -- had already offended guest co-host Ana Navarro.
And then on the show, Coulter distanced herself from the rationalization that America was founded by immigrants. Instead, she claimed that she was "descended from settlers" not immigrants,
and added, "they founded America, not immigrants."
Raven-Symone was not going to have any of it, and said, "My mom taught me when I was younger, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all...Why do you think it's important to mudsling?"
Although the audience cheered the sentiment, Coulter pointed out Raven-Symone's hypocrisy, calling back to the co-host's recent offensive comments. "Well, I'm at least talking about policy," she said.
"You have a position on what people's names should be. Watermelondrea... I mean, you'll insult people for their names. I'm talking about a government policy that affects all Americans, and
immigrants, and the people living here."
