Tuscaloosa contractor Bob McNelly told the news agency that it will be more difficult and expensive to rebuild his community once a post-tornado construction moratorium ends Aug. 8.

Well, well, well.......passing or enforcing immigration laws works. If you enforce it, they will leave. Who'd a thunk it? Oh ya, the pro-amnesty crowd knew it, thats why they don't want any state laws or enforcement of federal ones -- it works too darn well!

The High Cost of Cheap Labor

These companies that are hiring illegals to gain an edge on their competition will eventually find themselves paying out all their profit in new taxes to support the social services those very same illegals will demand under their "open borders" sponsors.

The much vaunted Mexican work ethic isn't! I have personally observed this too many times to count! When we had work done on our house, I can tell you that the contractor hired the Mexican crew for their price, not their willingness to work or the quality of their results!

It is true, that under the right amount of external social or economic pressure, Mexicans can work as long an hard as anyone. But the Mexican's ego and locus of control are external. So remove those external pressures and that much bally-hooed work ethic disappears like a puff of smoke.
