White House Plan on Immigration Includes Legal Status

The Obama administration will insist on measures to give legal status to an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants as it pushes early next year for legislation to overhaul the immigration system, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said on Friday.

In her first major speech on the overhaul, Ms. Napolitano dispelled any suggestion that the administration — with health care, energy and other major issues crowding its agenda — would postpone the most contentious piece of immigration legislation until after midterm elections next November.

If they plan on doing this after the elections we must put our full efforts into voting out of office any pro-Amnesty politicans before the Amnesty games begin.

It is all b.s. How can those liars in Washington DC tell us the border is secured when Border Patrol tells us 5,000 to 10,000 illegally cross the border every week. Under Obamnesty the millions illegally here are illegal aliens one day and instant citizens the next. They will invoke chain migration bringing in millions more immediate and extended family members who with thousands more illegally crossing the border every week also amnestied will compete with 17 million unemployed Americans for what few jobs there are. Those unable to find employment will be added to our unemployment insurance rolls when states are going bankrupt. They also will be added to our health care rolls further burdening our limited health care resources. The borders will NEVER be secure resulting in never ending illegal immigration resulting in ever increasing health care costs and the eventual collapse of the system. Under this scenario how will health care be deficit neutral? We can't reform the health care system and make it available and affordable to Americans when we are the world's health care system. We can't put Americans back to work when millions upon millions who violated our laws, borders, sovereignty and use stolen and fraudulent identities are rewarded with legalization, citizenship and jobs. Most use fraudulent identities and are paid under the table in cash so how will IRS determine what taxes they owe?
Napolitano has loosened border security. She no longer pursues illegal aliens using stolen identities discovered during what were formerly raids but now are workplace audits (employers are notified beforehand so they can prepare by getting rid of incriminating evidence and illegal alien employees). Illegal aliens found during these raids in possession of stolen and fraudulent identity documents (a class 4 felony for which Americans are imprisoned) are rewarded with work permits so they can take more jobs from Americans elsewhere.
Don't be fooled by this government's empty and hollow promises to provide a tough pathway to citizenship. The proposed legislation like the previous attempts at amnesty is very misleading. DHS is undermanned and under resourced with an existing backlog of approximately 8 million legal immigrants awaiting processing. With the crush of millions of illegal aliens expected to file applications and the thousands more showing up at our door every week, DHS will be unable to handle the load resulting in most not undergoing the so mandatory background checks. DHS personnel will be given 24 hours to do background checks. Illegal aliens will be given green cards even if no background checks are done or completed within the prescribed time frame. Most use stolen and fraudulent identities so how will DHS personnel ascertain their true identities? So much for national security during a so called War on Terror. MS-13 illegal aliens will also be granted amnesty of they renounce their gang affiliation which is another fallacy as they will do so only to comply with those terms, then rejoin their gang.
Already struggling taxpayers will be required to pay for immigration attorneys for those fighting deportation for crimes including felonies as child molestation, rape and other crimes. If DHS personnel are lucky enough to find someone with a questionable background they cannot deport them, even if applicants lied on their application. In addition DHS personnel will be fined 10,000 dollars if they divulge this information to supervisors or try to deport them.
All in all this bill (created behind closed doors involving Schumer, Gutierrez, big labor, the Chamber of Commerce, Corporate America, LaRaza, LULAC, MALDEF, PRLDEF, the Mexican government and other open borders and cheap labor proponents) will be just as bad as Obamacare resulting in suffering Americans once again screwed by this government for cheap compliant labor to placate their masters. Americans need to fight this fraud of a bill less we become an impoverished, bankrupt and lawless third world cesspool.

Excellent analysis retiredairforce ! I believe everything you said is 100% correct! No illegal invader will be deported under this amnesty bill. If they are here, they will be handed green cards. Napolitano was put in charge of Homeland Security because she is a open borders zealot just like this administration! She has no intent of deporting illegal invaders, especially when she believes amensty is just on the horizon.

The border is still not secured and they intend to keep it that way, ensuring a steady flow of illegal invaders can breach that border on a daily basis. No fence and an understaffed/underfunded Border Patrol. Does that sound like they are intent on securing that border.

Through chain migration, we could have upwards of 60 million third-world immigrants within a few short years if amnesty were to be passed. I believe this will will be the death blow to this country as we know it, as we simply could not accomodate the massive, third-world poverty, crime and other burdens inherent with these people.
