Makes no sense at all. They are the front line victims of illegal immigration. Supporting DACA or any other illegal alien promoting or protecting policy, rule or law is self-destruction for black Americans.

Hate, chip on their shoulder takes over any cognitive reasoning...they haven't figured it out yet in the last 150 years.

They are their own worst enemy.

In many ways their leaders have been their own worst enemies. So sad to watch it even today.

Actually, many blacks feel the same way as this man. They have felt this way since the early 80's when they began getting put out of jobs. It's just that they are just as ignored and helpless as we are.

I believe those who are protesting are mostly just more paid malcontents and they would protest anything if the news media kept making heroes of them.

Some are afraid to let go of the apron strings of the government and their 'leaders'.

It's not unlike our dogged support of the Republican side of the party. We have no other choice. We thought we had a choice with Pres. Trump and either he was never a choice, or he has been rendered powerless as well.

We have no where else to go but the Republican side of the party. We thought the Tea Party was real. The Republican side came slithering in with suitcases full of money, offers of vehicles and other goodies, with their own candidates - like Sarah Palin and pretty much squashed that movement. They took it over from the inside and made a very good idea and movement almost nothing.

If Trump stays focused on his economic Trump agenda of fixing trade and immigration, gets his tax cuts through to bring our jobs back, gets the tax mandates repealed from Obamacare to grow and expand our small businesses, repeals the McCarran-Ferguson Act to "erase the lines" that will reduce health care premiums, Trump has an excellent chance of attracting more black voters, especially if he makes sure redevelopment of our poor inner cities occurs. He really wants to see that happen, so if he gets some help from Congress on those issues Congress has to do, then America will be great again and he'll have done more for our country in 4 years than the last 8 Presidents combined.

And that's not even talking about his having ended the War in Syria, run ISIS into the ground in Iraq, finally winning the War in Afghanistan, de-nuking the North Koreans and paving a new relationship with Russia.

It's one of the most exciting political times in our country, I hope people don't spoil it for themselves.

Sadly, it seems some are hooked into black, brown, yellow and muslims will be the majority and they can finally do away with the white man in gov't offices and the rules of order. Have heard that the desire is to replace America's historical statues with rappers Everyone is entitled to their culture but we must have a semblance of order, respect for this country's heritage, the sufferings, sacrifices that made this country so desirable and maintain decency for all.

Be careful there, you could be charged with being a racist, nationalist, or worse.

To suggest there actually be rules for a country and we should all obey them, is just 'so outdated', don't you know.

Judy, as you explained it, and thank you, the McCarran-Ferguson act allows states to regulate insurance companies. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Let me try to explain why, I don't think that is a bad thing.

There is a reason premiums vary from state to state, it's because healthcare cost vary from state to state, even from region to region within a state. At least it once did in Texas. That meant the premiums for healthcare also varied.

So for that reason, if the lines were erased, everyone from the states that have higher insurance costs (higher healthcare costs as well) would absolutely want to purchase health insurance from a state with lower premiums (lower healthcare costs as well.)

So imagine what is going to happen when all those from expensive states purchase insurance from states with less expensive healthcare, and file claims.

Insurance companies are not in business to loose money. They aren't going to pay say, California priced claims, but charge say, Texas, premiums.

They aren't going to lower the premiums in the more expensive states. They are going to do what is best for them and raise the premiums on all states.

This is really not a good thing for those who are living in less expensive states - which usually also have lower wages.

If people want lower cost of living, go to a place where the cost of living is less. One must accept, though, the wages may be less, and the amenities (freebies) may also be less.

    Just something to think about.

When McCarran-Ferguson is repealed, states can still regulate their insurance companies if they want. States can still control prices if they choose. Repealing McCarran-Ferguson does one thing, makes insurance companies even if regulated by a state, subject to the Sherman Anti-Trust Act like every other business in the United States.
