UNCUT: Dozens found at Glendale drop house - Seven suspected human smugglers and dozens of suspected illegal immigrants are in custody after investigators busted a drop house in Glendale.

Authorities said the coyotes made brutal threats -- electrocution and rape -- to keep 31 immigrants inside the home in neighborhood of 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Officers busted the house at about 8:00 Sunday night.

A tip from a person who claimed a relative was being held for money is what led authorities to the home. That person reportedly told investigators that the coyotes were demandin more from from the families of their victims.

Lt. James Warriner of the Department of Public Safety said several of the coyotes were caught as they tried to leave the home.

At least one of the coyotes holed up inside the home and refused to come out. Warriner said officers had to send in a robot to confine the man to a single room.

Investigators said that while the coyotes were violent with their victims, one of whom was woman, no injuries were reported.

Officers on the scene described conditions inside the house as horrific.

It's not clear how long the illegal immigrants had been held.
