Woman Falls Trying to Climb Border Wall

BROWNSVILLE – A woman fell from the border wall in Brownsville Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene.

The woman was trying to cross over the wall somewhere between Veterans International Bridge and the B & M crossing.

Officials said the woman called 911 on a disconnected phone. Brownsville Fire Department Emergency Responders said they found the woman with a broken leg.

The incident isn’t the first of its kind. Last year, a man crawled up the wall and fell; he died.

According to emergency crews, it can sometimes be difficult for them to reach injured people.

The Brownsville Fire Department Emergency Responders should of air lifted her back over the other side of the wall.

Of course, she fell on our side and we are paying her medical bills. No one wanted her here and no one wants to pay for her either. IMO
