HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THESE PROTESTS OVER THE WEEKEND?

I may not be for it I may not be against it,
I do not wish to express my personal opinion,
on the necessity of battles to make men free.

Everyone has the right to protest, my heart was with the Eagles who gathered there to protest the anti-war protesters.I am so dam proud of them I could burst most of them Vets from Vietnam, they know that it was a hell hole, they also know what happened to the people they were defending when they were forced to get out by the anti-war protesters over here, at least a million people lost their lives in Vietnam and Cambodia. To me it really does not matter now that we got into this war over false pretenses, what matters now very much is that we finish it. If we choose to cut and run, I am afraid America will be fiinished as any kind of a super power, you cannot retain the super part if you cannot defend it, we have not won a war since we won WW11, we ran from Vietnam, of we run from Iraq, they will follow be emboldened to bring the fight to us, I think they are already planning that with bringing their jihadist over the southern border.I hate losing our young soldiers, but I have never felt that any soldier who loses their life, while fighting our wars lost their life in vain. We are all going to die, no way out of that, to me what better way to die then to die for your country or freedom of others, evidently these young soldiers feel the same way else they would not volunteer for our armed services, never have I felt their lives are wasted, to me wasted lives are the ones of our young dying at the hands of gangs. or illegals, now that is truely a waste of life but you don't see any protesters marcing in our streets against these kinds of sensless deaths do you, I wonder why? How come the Fonda's and the kerry's do not care about the thousands of lifes at the hands of illegal people who should not be in our country in the first place? This tells me, all these anti- war protesters are just political, and the kind of people who really don't believe anything is important enough to fight and die for not even their country. What are they going to do when the suicide bombers start marching among them and set off their bombs, what a perfect place for suicide bombers to do their work, those people might want to start thinking about that, it is already happening, but is not much mentioned, we had a suicide bomber in Okla, at a football game, only managed to kill hisself though, we were lucky that time, might not be next time!

    Well said Nitty!
I remember reading about that suicide bomber out there as well, didn't make the headlines though did it?
    God bless our troops.

    Sadam had to go.

We should not have entered this war without the dedication and staying power of other nations. Now we are hung out to dry.

I'm peeved about Bush's lies about New Clear weapons...

But don't you dare mess with my soldiers. Don't you dare say a nasty or foul word against them because they are laying their lives on the line for what they believe in and not just running their mouths.

They are walking the walk and not just talking the talk. They volunteered for this job and everyone should respect that.
