Mr. David Meade:
Someone placed a link to your video of the Chicago protests on our website.
I have a question for you. May we see the remainder of your footage that you cut off right as the Americans holding the signs that said "Go Home" we attacked by the mod.
Most of the protesters in the streets were foreign nationals and illegal aliens. The two people on the side of the streets were obviously Americans.
A majority of Americans agree with the message to illegal aliens "Go Home"
In you footage, one of the signs the American is holding is struck.
Was this not a graphic display of violent suppression of free speech by Americans by foreign nationals in front of your eyes?
Why did you brush that off and then go on to explain how smoothly everything went as far as you knew with the protest?
As you were standing their watch the mob rule approach you, what if you were the American with the sign that said "Go Home?"

Hi everyone. David Meade from DavidMeade.com here.
First let me assure you that my editing of the video was not done in anyway to prevent fuller coverage of any aspect of the event. Honestly, I was trying very much to NOT take a position on the issue in my video.
You may of course see any footage I have, however I honestly don't have any additional footage of these sign holders.
Just after the sign is yanked, the Chicago Police department relocated those sign holders (no doubt for their own protection). I was standing very near by, so at the same time the police were telling me to get down off of the base of a street light that I'd climbed up on. I had to turn my camera off to get down from the street light.
So just after the sign is yanked my camera is shut off and turns back on at a lower to the ground angle. Unfortunately this caused me to miss capturing the sign holders being escorted away. I did glance over and see them walking out of the on-lookers toward the open space behind them.
I added in the fade cut to mask the jarring jump cut caused by my turning the camera off and then on again.
If you'd like to see the unedited jump cut I will post it, but please remember that in fact it wasn't my intention to cover the event as a citizen journalist ... only to get a few minutes of video for a quick video blog about what was going on in the city.
"Why did you brush that off and then go on to explain how smoothly everything went as far as you knew with the protest?"
"Was this not a graphic display of violent suppression of free speech by Americans by foreign nationals in front of your eyes?"
Yes, one of the signs was yanked down ... and it was immediately after that when they were moved (again ... presumably for their own protection). There were alot of police around (you can even see them next to the "Go Home" sign holders). In addition, those sign holders were about 5 feet from the edge of the on-lookers and a clear and open shot to the rest of the city.
I don't know what happened to them after they were walked off, but I saw them being led away with police about them, and given the fact they were merely feet away from a clear shot to the rest of the city it didn't seem they were in any trouble (if I'd had that impression at all I certainly would have followed them and not the march.)
I'm not saying nothing happened to them - I don't know ... I'm only saying that at the time, given their location and company of the police, it seemed they were ok - and seconds from being out of sight ... so when my camera turned back on it was on the marchers.
Perhaps they took their signs to another location of the march, and were attacked there? In any case, I didn't see it where I was, and certainly would have mentioned it if I had.
"As you were standing their watch the mob rule approach you... "
I cant speak to the the environment elsewhere within the march.
Thanks for pointing me to this discussion. I'm happy to provide whatever additional information about my video that I can. I'll try to re-capture the moment with no editing, but I don't believe it will provide any more information.

Thank you for coming here to speak with us David. Although we have not seen any evidence of aggression by Americans against the illegal alien and their supporters, we are receiving a great deal of information about aggression by the illegals against Americans and police.
The MSM is not telling the country about the three riot clashes with police in CA on May 1.

also, a preacher tried to set up a civil debate on the issue in a Church in Chicago and they were besieged by an angry mob of illegal alien supporters and anarchists. There was one arrest.

Also, these High School students were almost mobbed for displaying American flags..

David, keep your camera handy. The question is, what are these mobs or throngs of illegal aliens going to do if we do not capitulate and give them what they want?
If you plan on filming more of these types of events, I hope you will review the material here on our site to provide some background information on some of the elements behind these marches.
