Altura Credit Union Rally 3/26/05
Altura Credit Union Rally
Lupe and her son among ralliers
Founder of Noinvaders.org
Above, rallier posted at the Altura Credit Union driveway entrance, greeted arriving bank customers with her sign. An established Riverside, CA bank customer - for 20 years - reviewed the flyer listing non-matricula consular banks and stated he will switch banks

Lupe is Hispanic, I presume.
So that is a photo of a Hispanic protesting illegal immigration?
Hmmmm ... someone should snap that up to the MSM and see if they think Lupe is racist!
Do you know Lupe's story, occutegirl? It would be interesting to hear her stance on illegal immigration."This country has lost control of its borders. And no country can sustain that kind of position." .... Ronald Reagan

Protesting illegal Banks
Friends of stopping illegal immigration:
We have the same opportunity to do this exact event here in Charlotte.
Our group should organize on this. I am a Banker here in Hickory, NC. This past December (Winter 2004 issue) I caught an article in the Carolina Banker that shows a complete travesty in catering to illegal Aliens by Peoples Bank which has opened its FIRST All-Latino Bank!!
The Bank is has a Signaged store front in spanish (Banco de la Gente) The article lists several practices that are questionable for any Bank (i.e - what kind of ID are they accepting to open bank accounts, as well the very nature of this bank violates discrimination laws by being an ALL-Latino bank (i.e racist)). They have an ITIN# service to get these numbers ---clearly illegal Alien help. I wrote a strong letter to the North Carolina Banker Association President and others. I also plan to write the NC banking commissioner. However, in an earlier magazine the Banking commissioner was pictured shaking hands with the "Hispanic Banking community". So this is an infected and troubled realm to say the least. I can list off a plethora of things I've witnessed in the Banking industry with the illegal Alien crap.
This is worse than Altura Credit Union, this Bank in particular is flat out a wholesale sore thumb violation that should be protested. This Bank was reported on in the Business section of the Charlotte Observer in about August 2004. The Bank's address is 6300 South Boulevard, Charlotte----if anyone is in this area --check it out. I have been meaning to take a trip down from Hickory to check it out and even enter the Bank and pose as a customer to see what is going on. Mr. William Gheen -- I would like to get you the article to see about some action. Peoples Bank in particular is behind this.
P.S. --- As well Bank of America (should be labeled Bank of Foreign Greed (as it outsources and lays off American jobs and the CEO gets a fat raise) or Bank of Mexico) donates $$millions to the National Council of La Raza. You can find this on their website - I think under Charity or Community involvement. Bank of America also has job listings that say ------those who don't speak Spanish need NOT APPLY!!
This type of protest action can garner recognition to the problem and maybe affect the NC State Legislature.

Lupe's Story
Saturday protester Lupe Moreno, 47, president of Santa Ana-based Latino Americans for Immigration Reform, said she and her husband divorced over the issue of illegal immigration.
Moreno said she was born in Redding, grew up working in the fields, got pregnant at 14 and married an undocumented immigrant when she was 16.
After their marriage, she said, the couple spent seven years and hundreds of hours in lines until he got his green card.
They were in love, had five children and were happily married for years -- until Proposition 187 hit California in the mid 1990s.
Had courts not struck it down, the proposition would have banned illegal immigrants from public social services, non-emergency health care and public education.
Moreno, who supported the proposition, said her husband did not and told her she was a Mexican and not an American.
That did it for Moreno.
"I adored him. If he told me the sky was green, I agreed," she said. "But I couldn't stomach him telling me I wasn't American."
She's been protesting illegal immigration ever since, she said.If you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will give you trouble in the land where you will live.'
