Trump was right when he said, when he was campaigning, that black people have been voting democrat for the last 40 years and have only been pushed deeper and deeper into poverty ever since. I wish black people would wake up and smell the coffee. Democrats have royally screwed the black population.

They certainly have. It was Democrats who did Black Codes and Jim Crow. It was Democrats who vetoed the 1866 US Civil Rights Act. It was Democrats who came up with poll taxes to vote. It was Democrats who opposed for over 100 years the passage of a full US Civil Rights Act. Even John Kennedy voted against the 1957 US Civil Rights Act passed by Republicans under Eisenhower, when Kennedy was a US Senator, even after Democrats had gutted most of the bill. It was Democrats who rejected the voting rights portion of the 1964 US Civil Rights Act which is why another bill a year later was passed in 1965 to square that off, a bill written by a Republican, Everett Dirksen.

Every freedom and every right black Americans have in our country is due solely to Republicans, a little known fact. Why is that fact so little known? Because Democrats took over public education and decided what was told and what wasn't.
