I think we had a spy. She didn't participate in our protest but she
sure hung around and kept close enough to hear everything we said.




We had Hecklers, which were confused about the issues.

We had some Skin-head kind of guys show up and they kept the hecklers busy.

I'm going to say this about the protest. We did not invite the skinheads. However, they told the
protest organizer, they found our flier on a Pro-Nazi website, which may have actually invited the
other group because they were watch dogging their website. I would like to know if the opposition
posted it there for us, hoping it would cause us to be branded as racist. We did chant "It's Political,
Not Racial". I don't know how to keep the haters away, since the invitation is public. The only thing
we can do is expel them, if they behave badly. However, the press being the press will put that on the
front page. Fortunately, they didn't get into a fight or say anything racial. We were lucky.


The Skinheads did a pretty good job because one of the hecklers got so
mad and ugly, that he got a ticket.

I've got about 50 friends now that can help me plan the next one. We actually got some press coverage. KERA - Public TV, the Paper showed up, Corbis Photographer and a news crew did interviews.

The Spy looked sick to her stomach.

I know they were a pretty messed up looking bunch. They sure had that unwashed - morning after- the night out look. I had to take their picture from across the street. I really like my camera it's a Kodak 5 megpixil Easy Share Mdl CX 7530 with a digital zoom.

Another lady they interviewed, said all of our ancestors got amnesty and our ancestors didn't speak English, when they got here either. More screwy history lessons or someone's been in the sauce.

I've been pulled over by a horse. LOL No kidding. I ran a stale light in front of the courthouse and an officer cloppety clopped on over and gave me a warning. Back when I was still cute.

UPDATE: Two of the protesters were ticketed. The one I photographed and I'm not sure what his offence was. However, "Tory Cloud of Austin, who is part of the coalition, was issued a citation by police after she made an obscene gesture, a class C misdemeanor". Ft. W. Star Telegram

these people are so ignorant,

our ancestors language depended upon what territory they were in -- the British colonists spoke English, the Spanish territories spoke Spanish and the French territories spoke French.

it's amazing to me that all these American people forget about the 'little' war that our ancestors fought and won and the Constitution they established which provided for a "uniform rule of naturalization" -- I wonder what they think the 4th of July celebration is all about

The couple in the first picture appear to be of Hispanic origin. Did you get to talk with them? They seem to be proud Americans!
