Thread: Mayor Tom Rowland attacks Citizen on Illegal Immigration

Mayor Tom Rowland loses control and verbally attacks a resident as she is asking for the use of E Verify, SAVE, and the 287 g. She is trying to discuss the terrible problem of illegal immigration that plagues Cleveland,TN (Bradley County). The Mayor tries to stop and block her speaking, and then he admits that he and the Cleveland,TN City Council do not like the fact that the city is shown in a bad light when the truth is exposed. She is attempting to talk about a burned body murder by a MS 13 gang member and illegal alien that began in Cleveland.

This resident is also asking that the City of Cleveland,TN Police Chief Wes Snyder apply for the 287 g, CAP and any other programs available with ICE. Sheriff Tim Gobble of Bradley County,TN has been asked to apply for the 287 g too.

It seems the beloved mayor should occasionally shut up. Instead of answering whether any of the available programs had been considered or applied for he blathered his way into attacks. I still want to know from loud-mouth if those programs were under consideration.

If Mayor Tom Rowland is so concerned about putting his city in a bad light, he should not be such a jerk to citizens that try to speak to his council on important issues like illegal immigration.

Tom Rowland came off as a complete ass in this video.

Thanks to his interruptions, I could hardly understand what the lady even came to speak about.

That mayor wanted nothing to do with this discussion, that's obvious. And he was so rude to her. I'd give anything to know how everyone else in that room felt. Applaud her for staying cool, calm and collected during that exchange and also for standing up for what she believes in.
