Welcome. I hope as well that we can have intelligent and vibrant discussion. All viewpoints are welcome, we only ask 2 things:

1- If your views are very different than what we feel, be willing and able to explain and defend that position. There are some people, such as I, who love to debate others with different viewpoints. True debate is an excellent way to excersize the brain.

2- Please keep it clean. We try very hard to have what is read here be suitable for all ages.

100 degrees? Yikes! here it is a balmy 38 degrees, going down to about 25 tonight. My blood is too thick for that hot weather. BTW, thanks for reminding me, I am due for a haircut.

I hope you do understand that as a group, we are not opposed to anyone from any race or Nationality immigrating to the US. Everyone does deserve a chance to better their lives, and the US does have a unique set of conditions that make it ideal for bettering someone's life, if they apply themselves.

Our concern is that people follow the laws when they immigrate. There were reasons those laws were put in place. Those laws are an attempt to protect society as a whole. For example, there is a requirement to pass a health exam during immigration. Just look around any major city here and think, "What would happen if E-Bola got loose here?"

Well, that' a start. If you are willing to discuss the wide range of issues we face I am willing to join you and discuss whatever. I hope you do stay and join in, I can learn a lot from you.

I do not know who patriot chicano is, and notice he has not posted any more in a while. Thats a shame. He and any others who wish to engage in civil discourse are welcome here.

That applies to Tejano and any of his buddies over at that site. To tell the truth, I had not even noticed the link on Patriotchicanos's post and had not checked out that "brownpride" site, until Tejano showed up. Interesting board over there, but does not look like the sort of place I care to hang out. I see a lot of racism and flaming going on over there, but they are free to run things as they see fit.

It would appear that we are something of an item over there. In fact it appears someone over there believes we are trying to shut them down or something. ROFL!!!

I think we should all be truly flattered. I sometimes wonder if anyone outside of here is actually paying any attention to us. I find it amusing they would think someone here was trying to shut them down, since until patriotchicano arrived, and tejano drew attention to it, I expect few of us had even heard of them. running a search on our archives, I found them mentioned in ONE post prior to their arrival. I guess we make a bigger impression on the world than they do, since they HAD apparently heard plenty about us.

Anyway... They can chat about us all they like. I am not even gonna worry about it beyond possibly popping in once in a while to see what they say about us when I want a good laugh. I am not gonna spend much effort on watching them or discussing them further however. Some people are actually having an effect in changing the country.. while others sit and talk about the ones who are.
