WOWIE ZOWIE!
Butterbean! Print this out, dip it in Gold, Frame It and FEDEX it to the President of the United States of America!
The Chinese want to make tennis shoes, microwaves, sandles, food products, seafood, computer equipment, etc., etc., etc. IN THE UNITED STATES!
Now, if that's not "proof in the puddin" that our labor is cheap enough, I don't know what would be! Didn't all our companies send all these types of operations TO CHINA FOR CHEAP LABOR?
Wait a minute, I'm confused! US Companies moved their operations to China for Cheap Labor but the Chinese Companies want to move 212 manufacturers to Brownsville, Texas USA for American Labor?
What's wrong with this scenario? Have our US Companies been lyin to us?
I've got an idea for everyone, instead of Chinese Made in America how about:
AMERICAN MADE IN AMERICA
Lordy, every once in awhile a truly patentable idea will just jump out of my brain like a startled frog leapin' off a lily pad!
6,000 jobs.....for whom, dare we ask? Americans, Mexicans, Latinos, Chinese, Utzbekis.....? ..."Amexlachinutz"....perhaps?A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

Got news for you Judy:half the time you see Made in USA it's actually made in Guam or Saipan, where they are VERY lax on labor laws even though they are American territories.

Visa Problems
Judy--
6,000 jobs that Americans won't do! Think of the possibilities. Bush, and LaRaza probably have job applicants ready to fill these positions. Not only that, but this is probably the land that runs along the border states, that America wants to dump anyway. Ummm, nice deal for some certain people.RIP Butterbean! So, whaddya thinks up?
Possibly Chinese want to "base" their operation in USA on Texas side of the border. Sure why not, we do afterall have the best environment in the WORLD for manufacturing companies.
Then, do a Mequiladora....put the actual manufacturing labor intensive job creation across the border in Mexico.
Then fill the jobs with Mexican Citizens...or why not just run Chinese Citizens into Mexico?
That way Chinese Citizens can follow the Mexican Example of infiltrating American Sovereign Territory AND Mexico Sovereign Territory with Chinese agents with allegiance to China?
Then, China can take over the World..

Judy, i think China has run out of space since they dominate the world in manufacturing. The factories will most likely be automated and require people with a high degree of education in electronics, so they will have to import their workers from China on special work visas and hire a few Americans to be their grunts.
