Thread: Campo, CA, latest attempt to disarm Minutemen

An employee of the Bureau of Land Management has been around the border, talking to Minuteman and looking around

Today, he told Kingfish that his location was creating a new road and he could not create new roads on BLM land. Kingfish has moved back to the border road.

He also told him that the ACLU has persuaded a congressman to investigate just who is at the border and where they are located. They are pushing for a change in the law which allows guns on BLM land.

The ACLU was out for quite a while today, checking, and taking pictures. Kingfish spoke to them for a time but I was not sure I could be civil so I did not talk to them.

The border road was a little more nerve racking.More dangerous too, as Kingfish was "rocked" there several times which is why he moved.

Kingfish is tyying to get back online. A Few months ago, some illegals jumped the fence, and stole his computer and several other personal items. He located a used Powerbook and a Verizon card which is the exact set up he had before, but can not get it to connect at the border. It works just fine at anohter Minuteman's house though, so it is unclear what is wrong. Maybe Verizon moved the coverage area a few feet?

On a more positive note, we continue to have new people show up. Kingfish also has a BBQ.

I may get used to sleeping in my car, but I can not live on powerbars and water. LOL

Give it enough time and the Minutemen will be prohibited entirely from participating in their operations. I don't say this lightly. As Morpheus said in the "Matrix"... I only offer the truth, nothing more.

I think that the 6000 guard troops are a way to get the Minutemen off the border. If the guard is there the munitemen will be "in the way" of operatiions. I don't believe that the guard is being sent to "guard" the Americn people, I think they are being sent to guard the border from both sides.
