Tell Congress to Defend English in the Workplace!
Tell Congress to allow English at work
New bills have been introduced in Congress to stop the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) from suing employers like the Salvation Army that have English-on-the-job policies.
Courts have ruled that the EEOC is abusing its authority because it is NOT a violation of our civil right laws for employers to require their employees to speak English at work.
But those rulings have not stopped the anti-English police at the EEOC who are determined to pursue their war against English.
Please click here http://capwiz.com/proenglish/issues/ale ... d=10798276 to email your Congressman and Senators urging them to support these bills and end this regulatory abuse by the EEOC.
Thank you,
Raegan Baker

Doots,
I think this is a great idea. However, you don't need to submit your personal information to that website to tell your Congressmen and Senators what you expect from them.
Please use our list of Congressional contact to send your views about English in the workplace.

This is long overdue. I seldom see anyone say anything but I do. When I am at the gorcery store and the cashier and bagger speak Spanish I report them to the manager. My friend is a spansih speaker and is a manager at the Starbuck's I go to and she told 2 employees who were speaking spanish on the job to stop it. I admire her for that and sent Starbuck's praise about it.
