Another Poll Finds Majority Opposed to Obama Exec Amnesty

    by Breitbart News
    5 Mar 201520

A majority of Americans oppose President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty and think he exceeded his authority in enacting it, according to yet another poll.

A Quinnipiac survey found that 55% of Americans oppose Obama’s executive action to give more illegal immigrants temporary amnesty and work permits. Just 38% of Americans approved of Obama’s handling of immigration while 56% disapproved.

The poll, which was taken before Republicans in Congress ultimately caved on defunding Obama’s executive amnesty to pass a “clean” Homeland Security funding bill this week, found, by a 47%-42% margin, Americans trust “Republicans in Congress more than President Obama to make decisions good for the country.”

Quinnipiac conducted its poll February 26-March 2, and it has a margin of error of +/- 2.7 percentage points.

Republicans should have held the line and stood their ground on DHS de-funding.

Quinnipiac leans strongly to the left. So you can probably bet your first born that the numbers provided are much higher in support of those opposed to Obama's amnesty.

I was going to say these numbers are far too soft! A lot more Americans oppose Obama on this than that, but a lot of these left leaning pollsters do their best to make the division look a lot less dramatic.
