Poll: Yes to more aggressive deportations, no to welfare, citizenship for kids of illegals

    By Paul Bedard | April 6, 2015 | 11:32 am

Despite President Obama's efforts to cool the nation's views on illegal immigrants storming over the U.S.-Mexico border, Americans have reached a new level of anger over the issue, with most demanding a more aggressive deportation policy — and reversal of a law that grants citizenship to kids of illegals born in the U.S.

A new Rasmussen Reports survey released Monday also finds Americans questioning spending tax dollars on government aid provided to illegal immigrants. A huge 83 percent said that anybody should be required to prove that they are "legally allowed" to be in the country before receiving local, state or federal government services.

Overall, the poll is bad news for the White House because it shows sustained, and in some cases, elevated anger and frustration over the surge in undocumented immigrants in the United States.

For example, 62 percent told the pollster that the U.S. is "not aggressive enough" in deporting those illegally in the United States. Just 15 percent believed the administration's current policy was "about right" and 16 percent said it was "too aggressive."

That 62 percent number is a jump from a year ago when it was 52 percent.

When asked if the baby of an illegal born in the United States should automatically become a U.S. citizen, as is now the law, 54 percent said no versus 38 percent who said yes.

In another area that seems to test American patience with the administration, 51 percent said that illegal immigrants who have American born children should not be exempt from deportation.

    Poll: Deport Illegal Aliens

Imagine that: most Americans believe our government needs to be more aggressive in deporting people who have invaded our country and remain here illegally, and most Americans believe that should include people who have “anchor babies” while they are in our country illegally.

From the Washington Examiner and Rasmussen Reports,

Just 16% of Likely U.S. Voters think the U.S. government is too aggressive in deporting those who are in the country illegally. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 62% believe the government is not aggressive enough in deporting these illegal immigrants, up from 52% a year ago and 56% in November. Fifteen percent (15%) feel the current number of deportations is about right.

Thirty-two percent (32%) believe illegal immigrants who have American-born children should be exempt from deportation, an element of Obama’s plan, but 51% now disagree
    .

Sorry, liberals. Yet again, you’re on the wrong side of history, the wrong side of the facts, the wrong side of the rule of law, and the wrong side of the American people.

Good Job Americans who participated in the poll! You got it right! Send the message loud and clear and lets get those numbers up to 90% across the board.

Our immigration laws are some of the most important laws in our nation because they protect our federal and state treasuries, they protect our work force, they protect our school children and college students, they protect our medical facilities, and they protect our natural resources from food and water to natural habitat, because they control our population. Never feel badly about supporting our immigration laws that control to limit foreign emigration into our States. Without these laws or without strict enforcement of them, we will become the over-populated mess we see in other countries and the World's Largest Bedbug Ridden Banana Republic on the map. If you want that for your children and grandchildren, then shame on you.
