By its very nature perpetuating a fraud requires a deviation from the truth. Most Democrats and the Clintons in particular, are experts at deviation.
From the time her husband started our nation down the course of global government in 1992 under the Rio Summit United Nations climate regulations, their kind has been laying the pieces for this ultimate global scam.
The purpose of her Las Vegas speech, indeed the whole reason that she is even given a place on a national stage, is to repeat the lie and to move the malleable herd along.
It’s no coincidence that John Kerry’s first act upon assuming his position as Secretary of State was to promote the climate change scam. If Clinton is going to be on the 2016 ticket, she’s going to have to prove herself now. She’s up off the bench and checking in for the full court press.
The message is the same, in spite of real threats, the fabricated crisis of climate change always gets top billing. If we just throw some money to the UN, and perhaps to the Clinton Global Initiative, the problem might just go away. We all know the Earth needs money and the elites are happy to act as the Earth’s financial representatives.
This disingenuous politician proclaimed, “sea levels are rising; ice caps are melting; storms, droughts and wildfires are wreaking havoc; thirteen of the top fourteen warmest years have all come since 2000.
Hang on there just a minute, Hillary. We are only midway through 2014, so the last 14 years on record would be every year since 2013, including 2000. She’s saying since 2000 the planet is the warmest it’s ever been.
It’s strange that there hasn’t been a rash of scientific reports alerting us to this, that the revelation came from a political opportunist in a campaign speech. Perhaps that is because it is a fabrication of that same political opportunist and her handlers.
She blames what we used to refer to as natural disasters on the myth of climate change as well. Storms, droughts and wildfires never happened in her world before climate change and the year 2000.
Inexplicably, the water level and the sand at my local beach are still in the same locations they’ve been in for as long as I can remember. I know with all of the melting going on it should be underwater, but it isn’t.
The socialist Democrats would have us believe that the science is settled and accepted. For them science is whatever they say it is and it’s our job to accept it.
To craft their fairy tale, the liberal academic community uses exclusionary and intimidation tactics against scientists who speak the truth in opposition to the climate change crowd. There is also a considerable financial incentive to those willing to find in support of the false science.
One scientist who is not intimidated by the UN’s climate thuggery is Professor Ross McKitrick, of the University of Guelph in Canada.
He studied land and ocean temperatures going back to 1850 and compared them to satellite data from 1979 to 2014. He then plotted the trends and concluded as have many others, that there has been no climate warming for the last nineteen years straight. That is a timeframe which includes Clinton’s “emergency period” since 2000.
Additionally, Dr. McKitrick also compared his information to readings taken by the Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) satellite, which has measured upper air temperatures since 1979.
Professor McKitrick concluded that in the troposphere, the lowest level of the atmosphere, there has similarly been a 16 to 26 year pause in warming.
Climate change is always taking place, accelerating, decelerating or remaining stagnant. It is a completely natural and inevitable occurrence in our world. The science and facts should at least be trustworthy when our politicians are not.
If Clinton’s claims can’t be supported by science, rather than making up her own facts to fit the narrative, she should simply not make the claims.
Then again, lying works. It got the last Democrat elected twice.
