100,000 fake certificates found in Bihar

100,000 fake certificates found in Bihar

PATNA: Over 100,000 fake certificates of various Indian universities have been found in a Bihar town, police said, even as the government cracks
down on irregularities in the education system.

Acting on a tip off, a police team raided five places in Biharsharif town in Nalanda district, 100 km from here, and unearthed the racket in fake certificates. It involved three people, including a man and his father-in-law, police said.

More than 100,000 fake certificates and thousands of incomplete ones were found, a police official in Biharsharif said.

The false certificates recovered pertained to the Bihar Sanskrit Education Board, Patna; Hindi Vidyapeeth, Deoghar; and Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Allahabad, among other universities across the country, police said.

Rubber stamps, two computer systems, scanners and other items were also seized.

Only two days ago, the Bihar government had rejected more than four million applications to check a fake degree racket and other irregularities during a teacher recruitment drive for government-run schools.

About 9,000 recruitment centres across the state had received more than 10 million applications for 93,000 teaching posts in the second phase of recruitment.

The absence of industries and other business opportunities forces young men and women in Bihar to apply for jobs in government-run schools and also resort to fake certificates.

Last month, the state government had blacklisted 75 B.Ed institutions in India and Nepal to check irregularities in the appointment of school teachers
    .

In December, the government sacked 15,000 teachers for submitting fake degrees and certificates. The sacked teachers had been appointed last year as part of the first phase of the recruitment drive

So, in short, these people could be using these fake certificates to get visa's and jobs here?

How many, we have to wonder, are already here.....How many Americans could be out of work to someone form India, and not even the same level of competence as the American employee was?

There's a ton of horror stories about this. Americans forced to train someone for their job, or else no severance when they are let go. Many eyewitness observations such as foreign techs reading 101-type books for a skill they were already supposed to have. Spaghetti code. Learning on the fly when they were already supposed to be experts.

Corruption, it just does not seem to have an end these days, does it?

I wish someone could build such a thing as a time machine...lol, I would use it to find some peace, even for just a little while. However, I think prophecy touched on that...man would desire what they no longer had, peace (meaning from all crime, corruption and wars).

We sure didn't invent it. Some describe it as a by-product of an extremely crowded society where there just isn't enough for everyone.

Corruption is a direct product of greed, which is a sin.

Some believe that unnatural greed, a very high level of it in one person, indicates demonic possession. Although I could see that, and even say there could be some times when it applied, I have to say, mankind is truly capable of it, all by themselves without the help of demons or satan. We are born sinful, wanton and heathen creatures, and that nature, left unchecked, can turn us into terrible people, ones who would practically sell our own parents if it suited our best interests.

However, almost all of us have had upbringings where we were taught to subdue that and also shun it. Some have not, and although some have, they gave into it later in life.

As for the limited resources being a reason for people to become corrupt, maybe, but it is still simply a huge character flaw in that one particular person which causes them to go that way, if not, then we would all be doing it, most of us are better than that........thank goodness.
