Julie Swetnick Sued Employer for Sexual Harrassment, Her Lawyer’s Firm Now Reps Christine Blasey Ford

Julie Swetnick received a financial settlement after a sexual harassment complaint against her former employer — and she was represented at the time by the firm run by Debra Katz — who now happens to represent Christine Blasey Ford.

Swetnick, the third woman to accuse Judge Brett Kavanaugh of something nefarious, claims that he was at parties she frequented where girls were raped. She alleges that she was eventually raped at one of the parties after failing to notify authorities about the “gang rapes.”
Kavanaugh has denied knowing her.

According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal:

In 1993, she filed a criminal harassment complaint with state prosecutors in Maryland against a podiatrist and his wife, alleging repeated phone calls, according to court records, but the case was withdrawn two months after it was filed.
In 2001, Ms. Swetnick was the defendant in a domestic-violence case filed by Richard Venneccy in Miami-Dade County, Fla. The case was dismissed when both parties failed to appear in court in March of that year, according to court documents reviewed by the Journal.
Roughly a decade ago, Ms. Swetnick was involved in a dispute with her former employer, New York Life Insurance Co., over a sexual-harassment complaint she filed, according to people familiar with the matter. Representing her in the complaint was the firm run by Debra Katz, the lawyer currently representing Dr. Ford. The company ultimately reached a financial settlement with Ms. Swetnick, the people said.

Swetnick also has a problem paying taxes. In 2015, she owed $30,000 in unpaid taxes causing Maryland’s comptroller filing a lien against her in Anne Arundel County.

“In 2017, the Internal Revenue Service filed a lien on Ms. Swetnick’s Washington apartment for $40,303 in unpaid taxes, and released it in March, saying the tax bill had been paid,” WSJ reports.

Julie Swetnick’s ex-boyfriend says he had to file a restraining order against Swetnick after they broke up–she continued to harass him after he got married to another woman.

Politico reported:

A Miami-Dade County court docket shows a petition for injunction against Swetnick was filed March 1, 2001, by her former boyfriend, Richard Vinneccy, who told POLITICO Wednesday the two had dated for four years before they broke up.
Thirteen days later, the case was dismissed, not long after an affidavit of non-ability to advance fees was filed.

According to Vinneccy, Swetnick threatened him after they broke up and even after he got married to his current wife and had a child.
“Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time,” Vinneccy said in a telephone interview with POLITICO. “I know a lot about her.”
“She’s not credible at all,” he said. “Not at all.”

Swetnick’s tall tale immediately began to unravel as the conservative media got to work picking apart her outrageous claims Mr. Kavanaugh and his friend Mr. Judge ran a rape gang in high school.

Brett Kavanaugh will be a really great Justice on the US Supreme Court. He's conservative, but he's fair, he's devoted to precedent with mild exception, he protects civil rights which means he protects the people of our country, he protects businesses but not unreasonably so which ensures the success of our industries and economies. He is a perfect choice to replace Kennedy. Kudos to Don McGahn for introducing him to the President as an option for nomination to the US Supreme Court and kudos to the President for selecting him. It's time for the Republicans to stand by our man, confirm his appointment and get this show on the road.

“During the years 1981-82 I became aware of efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to “spike” the “punch” at house parties I attended with drugs and/or grain alcohol so as to cause girls to lose their inhibitions and their ability to say “no,” Swetnick said in paragraph 11 of her sworn statement.

“I witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to “target” particular girls so they could be taken advantage of; it was usually a girl that was especially vulnerable because she was alone at the party or shy,” Swetnick continued.

Julie Swetnick, the latest accuser to come out against Brett Kavanaugh claims that she hung out partying while lines of guys waited to gang rape inebriated women.


The accuser, Julie Swetnick, claims that she continued going to these parties knowing they were gang raping other young women — until it happened to her. She does not allege that Kavanaugh was one of her rapists — but says that he was present at the party.

“I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their ‘turn’ with a girl inside the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh,” Swetnick’s statement claims.
Swetnick claims that she knew that the boys would spike the punch with alcohol and would avoid it — but did she bother to warn anyone else?

Swetnick claims that in 1982, after partying it up with this group 10 times, she was also gang raped. She believes that she was drugged with Quaaludes “or something similar placed in what I was drinking.”
If her allegations are true and end up being proven, wouldn’t she be considered an accessory to the other rapes that she knew were occurring and did nothing to stop?

To borrow from Madeleine Albright’s famous phrase — there’s a special place in hell for women who party while other women are being gang raped.
Kavanaugh has denied her claims and knowing her.
“This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone. I don’t know who this is and this never happened,” Kavanaugh’s statement read.

Remember how Ford's attorney was trying to claim Ford couldn't fly to DC? She took her polygraph in August in Maryland. How did get there? On the train, she drove? Somehow she can make it to the DC area for her polygraph for the Washington Post story, so she can make it to DC for her "hearing", if she wants one. I wouldn't have given her one, nothing about her story if true is of enough consequence to make any difference today. Nothing happened to her, she wasn't raped, she wasn't sodomized, she wasn't disrobed, she wasn't even kissed, she wasn't kidnapped, she walked right out of the room by her own statements.

Demand to know how she traveled to Maryland for the polygraph exam.

Everyone is acting like an idiot in my opinion, concerned that Ford be "heard". We have a huge media dying every day for a "story", a "tell all", she could have told her story any time, anywhere, to any Tee Vee company, any Radio show, Howard Stern would have loved that story, any newspaper .... oh wait .... she told her story .... to the Washington Post. Senators should have just read her story in WaPo, asked Kavanaugh for a response, and then voted.

60 Classmates of Kavanaugh Sign Letter Saying They Have Never Met Creepy Porn Lawyer’s Client Julie Swetnick

A new letter signed by 60 classmates of Judge Brett Kavanaugh says they have never even met a woman named Julie Swetnick.

Swetnick claims that she was attending parties that Kavanaugh was also present at, and stood around while girls were being gang raped — until it happened to her. She also claims that she went to at least ten of these parties without reporting them to authorities.
In the letter obtained by Daily Caller White House correspondent Saagar Enjeti, the classmates tell Chairman Grassley and Ranking Member Feinstein that “in the extensive amount of time we collectively spent with Brett, we do not recall having even met someone named Julie Swetnick.”
“Nor did we ever observe Brett engaging in any conduct resembling that described in Ms. Swetnick’s declaration,” the letter continues.

The classmates went on to reaffirm that Kavanaugh is a “good man” who has always “treated women with respect and decency.” They additionally called for an end to the “shameful attacks” which are “harming good people.”

Kavanaugh has also denied knowing Swetnick and referred to the allegations as something out of the “Twilight Zone.”
