The new Muslim Ramadan message declares they will invade Rome.
I guess the Pope allowing Islamic prayers at the Vatican didn’t get through as a message of peace to the Muslim world. Quite a few people are saying this shows vulnerability. So much for Ramadan being a “time of peace and reflection.”
I guess the the Caliph of the new Caliphate didn’t get the message of peace presented by the Pope to the Muslim world either.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi gave praise to the shooting and beheading leading to the massive land grab in Syria and Iraq that has Saudi Arabia trying to slam shut their borders, even though they helped pay for the now IS.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi made this statement:
So take up arms, take up arms, O soldiers of the Islamic State! And fight, fight… So raise your ambitions, O soldiers of the Islamic State! For your brothers all over the world are waiting for your rescue, and are anticipating your brigades. …The time has come for you to free yourself from the shackles of weakness, and stand in the face of tyranny, against the treacherous rulers – the agents of the crusaders and the atheists, and the guards of the Jews … Rush O Muslims to your state. Yes, it is your state. Rush, because Syria is not for the Syrians, and Iraq is not for the Iraqis. The earth is Allah’s… This is my advice to you. If you hold to it, you will conquer Rome and own the world, if Allah wills
Did you catch that? He wants to invade what Muslims consider “the agents of the crusaders,” or as we would know it from his speech, Rome.
Theodore Shoebat has made several observations on this fascination with Rome.
The desire to invade Rome is still throbbing like a beating heart; it is alive and remains vibrant like a torrent within the very soul of the Muslim world. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most influential Sunni scholar today, made the prediction in 2002 that the Muslims will soon rise and invade Rome, making references to the declaration of Muhammad himself:
He [Muhammad] answered: “The city of Hirqil [Emperor Heraclius, that is, Constantinople] will be conquered first” … Romiyya is the city called today Rome, the capital of Italy. The city of Hirquil was conquered by the young 23-year old Ottoman [sultan] Muhammad bin Morad, known in history as Mohammad the Conquerer, in 1453 [CE]. The other city, Romiyya, remains, and we hope and believe [that it too will be conquered]. This means that Islam will return to Europe as a conquerer and victor, after being expelled from its twice-once from the South, from Adalusia, and a second time from the East, when it knocked several times on the door of Athens.
In the year 1453, the raging Ottoman Empire flooded the city of Constantinople, creating a flood of human gore and countless pools of warm thick blood. It was one of the saddest events in Christian history, and the cries of those slain still echo from the vault’s of mighty Heaven.
The big problem is the leader of ISIS that wants to be called IS and the true Caliphate is not the only one to declare this desire.
Yunis Al-Astal, the religious leader of Hamas, has been calling for this very invasion since 2009.
He believes that Rome is the point that all Muslims will use to complete their engulfing of Europe. He likes to spend his holiday teaching Hamas this very thing.
Theodore Shoebat also notes that prior to the people taking back Egypt, the prominent Imam of Egypt also called for this.
Another example is Egyptian cleric Salem Abu Al-Futouh, who said in 2011:
The Prophet Muhammad told us that Islam would spread. He told us about the Islamic conquest of Constantinople – Turkey of today – and indeed, it was conquered. He also told us about the conquest of Rome, which is Italy. People find this strange. “How can we conquer Italy?” they say. “We are too weak.” You should consider the number of Muslims in that great Christian center – another person converts to Islam every day. Check on the Internet how many people want to convert to Islam in the very heart of that papal center of Christianity, on their own turf.
Luckily for Rome and the United States, Egypt is now executing the Muslim Brotherhood.
Then there is also Kamil Zarouq, a sheikh in Tunisia, who is still spreading this message.
Theodore Shoebat also states that this is a common goal of all Muslim sects for a reason.
This belief in the future conquest of Rome is not some dream or superficial idea Muslims say in passing, but a universal goal that all Muslims, both layman and scholar, aspire to fulfill. Rome is not just another place the Muslims want to take over (they want to rule the whole world), but a specific region that was desired by the founder of Islam himself, Muhammad. This cannot go ignored. There were three cities Muhammad wanted under Islamic rule: Jerusalem, Rome, and Constantinople. Why? Because these are the three heads of Christendom.
The problem with this illogical behavior is that as much as Protestants have come to believe that Rome may be an incarnation of the “Whore of Babylon,” Rome has been a central point of one thing that has united all Christians world wide. Whether you agree with the Crusades or think they are evil, there is one cause and one thing that came of them, and it wasn’t pretty for the Muslim martyrs.
The Muslim world has tried seven times to invade the city of Rome. Seven times it has been a bloody battle that has ended up being a waste of time and lives for their cause. Every time they have tried, there has been what historians list as a “Crusade” repelling the invading armies and taking large chunks of their forces.
They see the sign of the Pope allowing Imams to pray at the Vatican as weakness. They may be right, but they are more then likely going to cause more violence in the name of concurring the world for Islam.
You would think that they would learn from history. Those that don’t are doomed to repeat it.
