    A GIft for Ali-Pac

    I have compiled a list in over forty years of some of the greatest words ever put to music. I give this to you all, Ali-pac members. I did not load any music because I believe today, tomorrow and days to come you can look back and read these words and find some help to get us through the battle we are facing. They are put in this order for a reason as I will have one for you everyday and one of my favorites on Saturday night for your day of rest on Sunday. To get you through the week I shall paste one for the tone of the group each day. Please look not to me but to the Lord when you fight these battles because through him all things are possible.

    I love to tell the story of unseen things above,
    Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
    I love to tell the story, because I know tis true;
    It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

    I love to tell the story, twill be my theme in glory,
    To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love
    .

    I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems
    Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams.
    I love to tell the story, it did so much for me;
    And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee

    I love to tell the story; tis pleasant to repeat
    What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet.
    I love to tell the story, for some have never heard
    The message of salvation from Gods own holy Word.

    I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
    Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
    And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,
    Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.......
    (Katherine Hankey)

    Tomorrow is a special day to me the day on which I found a way to win any battle I have in front of me. Each and every day we all need to turn the battle over to the lord

    Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
    O what a foretaste of glory divine!
    Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
    Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

    This is my story, this is my song,
    Praising my Savior all the day long;
    This is my story, this is my song,
    Praising my Savior all the day long.

    Perfect submission, perfect delight,
    Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
    Angels descending, bring from above
    Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

    Perfect submission, all is at rest,
    I in my Savior am happy and blest;
    Watching and waiting, looking above,
    Filled with His goodness, lost in His love
    (Phoebe Knapp)

    Today I give this to you and ask nothing in receipt but that you look to your God as you walk into Battle On Monday and turn that battle to him

    When the words are free of all discord, the music flows unrestricted to ones ears, when the music is played for the lord purely, my soul is free.

    Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
    And to take Him at His Word;
    Just to rest upon His promise,
    And to know, Thus says the Lord!

    Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
    How Ive proved Him oer and oer
    Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
    O for grace to trust Him more.

    O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to trust His cleansing blood
    And in simple faith to plunge me
    Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

    Yes, tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just from sin and self to cease;
    Just from Jesus simply taking
    Life and rest, and joy and peace.

    I?m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
    Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
    And I know that Thou art with me,
    Wilt be with me to the end.

    I realy enjoy sharing this with people that never ever heard it.

    Just as I am, without one plea,
    But that Thy blood was shed for me,
    And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, and waiting not
    To rid my soul of one dark blot,
    To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, though tossed about
    With many a conflict, many a doubt,
    Fightings and fears within, without,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
    Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
    Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
    Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
    Because Thy promise I believe,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, Thy love unknown
    Hath broken every barrier down;
    Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

    Just as I am, of that free love
    The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
    Here for a season, then above,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

    We're all know whats right we're all are taught whats wrong if there ever any doubt just sing this little song (from turning the battle)

    The lyrics, above and below I proclaim that some or mine, most are not. The ownership falls upon first the artist that graciously supplied them to the world, to strengthen man in battle over any enemy without fistic but with song. when a mans hart is in battle he shall not fail With a word Ill begin with a song ill conquer its truth surely is the darndest thing (gaga 07)

    Take a child and throw him in the street,
    Give him a gas mask,
    Its so hard to breath,
    Spill some oil a bomb the earth,
    Why don?t you take some time and blow up a church.
    While we stand by and watch.
    While we stand by and watch.

    Daddy, what about the people over there?
    Daddy, doesnt Mr. Bush even care?
    Daddy, while are children and animals dying ever where?
    Daddy is it alright to kill?

    We tell our children
    Try and under stand,
    How we have to follow some government stand,
    And justly a war and justify some war
    While we stand by and watch
    While we stand by and watch

    Take a child and throw him in the street,
    Take his food the shoes from his feet,
    Kill his mom and scare his land,
    Why dont you take some time and burn his hand.
    While we stand by and watch
    While we stand by and watch

    [i]Daddy, what about the people over there?
    Daddy, doesn?t Mr. Bush even care?
    Daddy, while are children and animals dying ever where there?
    No son its not alright to kill
    While we stand by and watch
    While we stand by and watch
    Its not alright to kill
    (gaga 88 )

    I wish to see all arts, principally music in the service of Him who gave and created them. I would not for all the world forego my humble share of music. Singers are never sorrowful, but are merry, and smile through their troubles in song.
    Music makes people kinder, gentler, more staid and reasonable. I am strongly persuaded that after theology there is no art that can be placed on a level with music; for besides theology music is the only art capable of affording peace and joy of the heart.

    As we all walk down the road today on a path of this battle, I will sign out leaving this great melody of praise and reverence to the group.
    As my attempt to placate tonight may only subside momentarily the odium, we will again mount a journey with our Great Nations Flag in hand in the morn, with out any fear that we shall ever suffer defeat. (Gaga07)

    What is America to me?
    A name, a map, the flag I see,
    a certain word, "Democracy."
    What is America to me?

    The house I live in, A plot of earth, a street,
    The grocer and the butcher and the people that I meet,
    The children in the playground, the faces that I see;
    All races, all religions, that's America to me.

    The place I work in, the worker at my side
    The little town or city where my people lived and died
    The "howdy" and the handshake the air of feeling free
    the right to speak my mind out, that's America to me.

    The things I see about me the big things and the small
    The little corner newsstand and the house a mile tall;
    The wedding and the churchyard, the laughter and the tears,
    The dream that's been a growin' for a hundred fifty years

    The town I live in the street, the house, the room,
    The pavement of the city, or a garden all in bloom,
    The church, the school, the club house,
    The million lights I see, But especially the people,
    That's America to me.
    (unknow)

    And to me that is America, land of life, land of freedom people with love for God, love for life, love’ people.

    In American I live for thee, free to walk with you Lord however I see, to talk with you Lord in piece, for I live free in your garden lord. (gaga05)

    I come to the garden alone
    While the dew is still on the roses
    And the voice I hear falling on my ear
    The Son of God discloses.

    And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
    And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

    He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
    Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
    And the melody that He gave to me
    Within my heart is ringing.

    Id stay in the garden with Him
    Though the night around me be falling,
    But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
    His voice to me is calling.
    (C. Austin Miles)

    As the stones along the road side lay, silence may fall this next Lords day.
    Battle wages on, I shall commit to memory, lyrics of your praise.
