(Natural News) With so much focus on the rampant spying and censorship crimes of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, and other major social media platforms in recent days, many people are overlooking perhaps the most pernicious threat of all: Jeff Bezos’ Amazon empire.
That’s because the trail of free market destruction being left in the wake of Amazon’s rapid rise to almost total market dominance is something that’s rarely acknowledged, let alone discussed. People see convenience and free two-day shipping, and that’s enough for them to continuing supporting Amazon without giving it a second thought.
Most people are also woefully unaware of the fact that Amazon is now merging with the military-industrial complex, signing contracts with the Pentagon, defense contractors, and other elements of the war machine to basically do its bidding.
There’s almost nothing good about Amazon and the impact it’s having on the world, in other words. But why aren’t we hearing about it? Why is the world’s richest man being allowed to amass a level of power and control akin only to totalitarian dictators, many of whom exterminated millions of people?
The answer is ignorance, much of it willful. Many Americans, and people in general, would rather satisfy their here-and-now desire for cheap stuff, which they believe Amazon provides – when in reality, the perceived “genius” of the Amazon business model is really just a hostile takeover of pretty much everything, including mass surveillance and spying.
“Rampant ignorance has plagued the U.S. population when it comes to the deployment of technology, which has allowed the platform monopolies of Facebook, Google and Amazon to rise to dominance with disturbingly little scrutiny,” writes Michael Krieger for LibertyBlitzkrieg.com.

“Specifically, these companies have been able to take advantage of a massive knowledge arbitrage between themselves and their users.”

Amazon directly connected to the CIA and the Pentagon

While it’s been known for quite some time that platforms like Facebook and Google are basically surveillance front-ends for the deep state, it’s much less known that Amazon represents the exact same thing.
In fact, too many people are under the impression that Amazon is a good company run by a good man, when the exact opposite is true.
“Although public opinion is starting to turn on Facebook and Google, public opinion on Amazon remains far behind the reality curve,” Krieger writes.
“Since many people start and end with Amazon’s portal for all their online shopping, it is through this narrow experience that public perceptions of the company are formed and it’s almost impossible to imagine online shopping without it. But the reality of the situation is Amazon is far more than a retail shopping website – it has extensive and growing ties to the military-industrial-surveillance complex.”
We know, for instance, that Amazon Web Services (AWS) has close financial ties to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and that Jeff Bezos himself was named to the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Advisory Board back in 2016. Amazon and its lobbyists also rigged the process to obtain a whopping $10 billion contract with the Pentagon to develop … God only knows what for the military-industrial complex.
Amazon is also responsible for developing the so-called “Rekognition” facial recognition technology that we previously reported is now being used by police departments to spy on the public.
“Given the clear links between Amazon and the surveillance state, am I the only one who finds it mind-boggling that so many people are willing to place an Amazon created ‘virtual assistant’ named Alexa into their homes and treat it as part of the family?” asks Krieger.
“Many Americans have started to recognize the dangers of Facebook and Google over the past year, partly as a result of the companies’ increasingly sloppy use of censorship, yet the public remains in complete denial when it comes to Amazon and Jeff Bezos. I suspect this will change in the years ahead, and I hope my articles on the topic will serve as useful resources for those who care. The sooner we admit what’s going on, the better.”

(Natural News) Despite the fact that the social media behemoths are facing increasing scrutiny from Congress and POTUS Donald Trump over their censorship and banning of Right-leaning and conservative voices form their platforms, the attack on free speech is continuing unimpeded.
Late last week Twitter banned Infowars founder Alex Jones for life, and for nothing more than making one of his frequent detractors from CNN uncomfortable and posting the encounter to his Twitter feed.

As reported by NPR, the ban was due to “abusive behavior”:
Twitter on Thursday said it has “permanently suspended” conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his InfoWars outlet, citing “new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behavior policy.”
This comes after YouTube, Apple, Facebook, and Spotify banned Jones’ content as well last month. Apple banned Infowars’ app as well last week.
In testimony before Congress, Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey actually claimed that his company doesn’t discriminate politically.
“I want to start by making something clear: we don’t consider political viewpoints, perspectives, or party affiliation in any of our policies or enforcement decisions. Period. Impartiality is our guiding principle,” he said.
Frankly, that’s garbage. And Infowars reporter Paul Joseph Watson knows it.
As Information Liberation notes, Watson spoke out about the Jones lifetime ban, especially after Twitter announced it was thinking about banning other accounts that are associated with him, which would include Watson’s as well.
That retribution-by-association has already started, actually. Watson said Twitter suspended him for actually posting the video showing Jones confronting CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy after he called on the social media giants to ban Jones.
Stating that he is going keep fighting against Big Tech’s censorship and “ride it until the wheels fall off,” he said there are 20 social justice warriors at Twitter deciding who can and cannot have a voice on the platform.

He also points out the blatant hypocrisy of the social media platforms, especially Twitter, which is “shadow banning” or otherwise censoring conservative, pro-POTUS Trump voices while permitting Left-wing hacks, racists, and terrorist groups to keep their feeds and to be verified to boot. So much evidence of hypocrisy

Some examples he provided:
— There has been no shortage of users on Twitter who have advocated violence – and even death – against POTUS Trump.
— New York Times editorial board member Sarah Jeong has made overtly racist remarks disparaging white men, including, “White people have stopped breeding. You’ll all go extinct soon. This was my plan all along.” And, of course, she’s “verified” with the blue checkmark.
— Terrorist organization Hamas, which is supported by Iran, has an account.
— So does “Jew-bashing, gay-hating” ‘minister’ Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam.
— People who have threatened to kill independent journalist Mike Cernovich’s child also have their accounts.
— Actor Peter Fonda still has his account, despite the fact that he called for locking up POTUS’ son, Barron, in a cage so he could be repeatedly raped by pedophiles.
“But there’s no social media bias against conservatives,” Watson said sarcastically.
And Jones was banned – for life – for “abusive behavior.”
It’s absurd for Dorsey to claim his company isn’t being very selective, to say the least, in who it is singling out for bans, censorship, and other punitive behavior. The kind of abuse Leftists mete out on Twitter by the minute should be enough to ban half the platform’s users in one day – if policies were being applied fairly and universally.
It’s equally absurd for him and the rest of the Big Tech cabal to claim there’s no collusion between them and the Left-wing ‘establishment media’ to silence conservatives – coincidentally before the 2018 midterm elections.

In the bombshell video recording, Google co-founder Sergey Brin says the election of Trump “conflicts with many of [Google’s] values” and vows to use the power and influence of Google to make sure such outcomes never occur again.

Google CFO Ruth Porat then promises that Google will “use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values,” meaning they will commit election fraud to ensure that Democrats win all future elections.
Google has been carrying out its criminal racketeering and election fraud operations by:
1) Outright banning and de-platform conservative websites and video channels (via YouTube).
2) Shadow-banning conservative content.
3) De-monetizing conservative content while allowing “progressive” content to earn a steady revenue stream.
Don’t forget that Google’s Chairman Eric Schmidt also offered to “fund, advise and recruit” for Hillary Clinton, using the power of Google to meddle in the 2016 election. This was all made public in a series of damning leaked emails published by The Gateway Pundit and others.
Nearly every website that has worked to expose Google’s election meddling, racketeering and fraud has been banned or heavily penalized by Google itself.

While social media companies collude to silence right-of-center influencers, violent far-left extremist groups appear to be given a pass. This NYC based antifa group has been using their “leftist privilege” to freely violate Twitter and Facebook Terms of Service. In another glaring example of “non existent social media bias”, this extremist group is apparently allowed to use their social media account to advocate for murder.
The Base is a NYC based “anarchist center” that is run by the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement, a violent extremist group that we have covered extensively. The extremist group is currently offering downloadable poster and stickers that include images of guns and other calls to violence but the most concerning was an image that depicted the murder of President Donald Trump.


Advocating for the murder of your political opposition is very prevalent in far-left circles. Another prominent antifa website, It’s Going Down, is also currently using Twitter and Facebook to distribute a poster that depicts the murder of President Trump. We published a detailed report about this poster almost a year ago and have reported this tweet to Twitter multiple times but it is still live and the extremist group that created it is still free to recruit and radicalize new members on both Twitter and Facebook.

Another prominent far-left website that uses Twitter and Facebook to advocate for political violence is Crimethinc. This “decentralized anarchist collective” designed a distributed a poster that compares Donald Trump supporters to Nazis and encourages their followers to use violence against them.

In this example, a Seattle antifa group is using their Twitter account to distribute the personal information of ICE agents as well as their family members. Just like other Tweets we have referenced in this report, this one is still live even though we have reported it to Twitter multiple time.




There are endless examples of far-left extremist groups using their social media accounts to advocate for political violence but one more that warrants a mention is Redneck Revolt. This paramilitary organization claims to have over 30 active cells nationwide and until recently they offered a downloadable guerrilla warfare manual on their website that included sections on “kidnapping”, “executions”, and “terrorism”.

Why is this important? Firstly, it demonstrates the institutional bias of the giant tech companies that allow these accounts to actively violate their Terms of Service. And secondly, far-left extremist are escalating their violence. Just over the last seven days a GOP office was attacked by an arsonist, there was an assassination attempt of a GOP candidate, and a Democratic Socialist threatened to carry out a mass shooting against Trump supporters in D.C. These violent attacks are the predictable outcome of a media-industrial complex that constantly misrepresents the facts and gaslights Trump and his supporters as “fascists”. “racists”, “bigots”, etc.

Facebook Starts "Fact Checking" Photos And Videos Using AI

Facebook on Thursday announced the expansion of their fact-checking army to send "photos and videos to all of our 27 partners in 17 countries around the world," after using an artificial intelligence which will use "various engagement signals, including feedback from people on Facebook, to identify potentially false content."
The company says that because people share millions of photos and videos on Facebook each day, it creates an "easy opportunity for manipulation by bad actors."
How would an unsuspecting Facebook user know if this was real or not?
"The same hoax can travel across different content types, so it’s important to build defenses against misinformation across articles, as well as photos and videos," said Facebook.
Facebook categorizes photo / video "misinformation" into three categories: "(1) Manipulated or Fabricated, (2) Out of Context, and (3) Text or Audio Claim. These are the kinds of false photos and videos that we see on Facebook and hope to further reduce with the expansion of photo and video fact-checking."

So, if Facebook users report a picture or video suspected of being Fake News, Facebook AI will use machine learning to analyze said reports and then filter them to humans to make the final decision on what's real and what's fake.
